Neerukonda-Thullur, Epicentre of AP Capital

As reported by us earlier, Thullur is going to be part of new capital of Andhra Pradesh, however, latest reports suggest that Neerukonda in Mangalgiri mandal will be the epicentre of AP capital. Highly reliable sources in Chandrababu Naidu’s camp divulged that Neerukonda to Thullur stretch, including the river front villages of Thullur mandal, are going to be the new destination of Seemandhra capital.
Already Naidu has directed Guntur Revenue Officials to work out on these areas and AP government’s focus on land pooling will be in this area. District collectors, MLAs and local leaders will be held responsible and they’re going to personally persuade farmers and other land owners to be part of land pooling.
Neerukonda is just 11 km away from National Highway 5. And a road via Kuragallu, Mandal takes it to Krishna River. Meanwhile, state government has asked Infrastructure Corporation of AP (INCAP) to appoint an integrated project advisory & management consultant, a communication strategy consultant and a master plan consultant for the capital city construction. It may be recalled that Naidu has stated that new capital of Andhra Pradesh will be built on 5 years. Considering this, works have been fastened.
