Nirbhaya Case: All Four Get Death

Saket Court has finally pronounced their verdict in the brutal Dec 16th gang-rape of Delhi that has shaken the whole nation. Principal judge Yogesh Khanna felt that the intensity of the crime committed by these beasts should be rewarded only by ‘Death’, and termed this as rarest of rare case. However the sentence should be confirmed by High Court to finally send the culprits to death bed.

After identifying the horrific treatment meted to Nirbhaya by these ruthless beasts, including pulling her intestines out and outraging her modesty with a rusted iron rod. Just in his one paragraph order, Judge termed this as a rarest of rare case and awarded death for all the four without any second thoughts.

Reacting on the judgement Nirbaya’s father stated that he is happy with the verdict, while Delhi police revealed that they are completely satisfied with the verdict for the kind of investigation they have done.

Observers say that any punishment other than ‘death’ would have made public lose their faith in judicial system.
