The IInd additional First Division Court in Khammam issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against AP CM YS Jagan’s brother-in-law and Evangelist Brother Anil Kumar. Bro. Anil Kumar is the main accused in a case pertaining to the 2009 election campaign.
According to the media reports, Anil Kumar had violated the Election Commission Code in Karunagiri, Khammam, on March 28, 2009, while campaigning for his late father-in-law and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He allegedly distributed pamphlets, urging voters to vote for his father-in-law’s party.
The court had issued a warrant against him way back in 2009. However, Anil Kumar failed to present himself before the court for the last 10 years. Considering this seriously, the IInd additional court has now issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Anil Kumar and directed the police to present him for the hearing.
