It must be known to many movie buffs that Ajay Devgn‘s Hindi film ‘Singham’ is the remake of Suriya’s Tamil hit ‘Singam’. Both undoubtedly as stylish cops rocked with their intense acting in it’s sequel too. Now the grapevine from the industry reveal that Ajay would not continue the franchise ‘but another young actor Thakur Anoop Singh who played the antagonist in Tamil Singham 3 would reprise the role of Suriya in Hindi remake. It is directed by Guddu Dhanoa, who bankrolled Shah Rukh Khan’s Deewana.
Thakur Anoop Singh is well known for his role as Dhritarasthra in 2013 TV series Mahabharat.
Sharing his joy on receiving this role, Thakur Anoop , told a media portal, “Suriya sir is a superstar and a powerhouse of talent. I am a fan of his skills, work ethics, dedication and passion for his work. Stepping into his character that he has immortalised and made his own, in itself is a big responsibility and an honor that has been bestowed upon me.
When asked further about his feeling about playing the lead, the actor promptly said, he is elated to showcase showcase his abilities with whatever is offered. Anoop was seemingly ecstatic to bag Singham 3 protagonist role and said he tries to justify the role with the best of his abilities, and perform as per the director’s vision and instructions.
