Usha Kiran Movies which has some interesting films associated with its banner is now in plans to make at least 6 films per year. News in Tollywood is that the media house owned by Ramoji Rao is planning towards this goal.
Though the production house has been into film production for some decades, it has lost its reckoning in the past few years. In the last decade, it made successful entertainer Anandam after which it did not achieve that level of success.
Though they made Veedhi after that, it did not work out at the box office. Only recently, it produced Beeruva which also did not work at the box office. Incidentally, Usha Kiran Movies had also introduced many new faces to the industry.
They were the ones who introduced NTR Jr to the industry in a full-length role. Similarly, they were the ones who introduced Nandamuri Kalyanram. So, now they are all set to come back with 6 films a year. It remains to be seen what kind of films they will be making this time around.
