In the recent times, young hero Ram has started films with many directors and has halted them even before they took off. It looks like another movie has joined the list, and the director reveals why it happened that way.
Though many thought that Ram changed his path after “Nenu Sailaja”, he’s very much picking similar commercial films. And with films like Hyper and Vunnadhi Okkate Zindagi tanking at the box office, he’s back to thinking. Before starting Trinadha Rao’s Hello Guru Premakosame, actually, this talented hero gave a go to Karunakaran and another director. But those films got halted after few days of discussion.
Latest update is that Ram’s next film under Praveen Sattaru’s direction whose muhurat event also took place, is called off. The budget quoted by the director seems to be way too high than that of producer Sravanthi Ravikishore and they have decided to put this project aside. “I can’t compromise on quality as the film takes place in Indian military backdrop. As the budget I’ve quoted is not viable as per Ram’s market, we called it off amicably” said Praveen Sattaru.
Buzz is that, while PSV Garudavega made only 7.5 crores ‘share’ from the box office in its full run, Praveen has now quoted almost 30 crores production costs for the film. That is not viable on any scale as Ram’s previous super hit Nenu Sailaja made only 20 crores share from the box office. So, shutting down this project is a safe idea, isn’t it?
