It is known that the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s village and ward Sachivalayam concept was cherished by the AP government recently and the Sachivalayam employees celebrated its 1st anniversary. There are mixed reactions to this system introduced by the YSR Congress government.
Now, Janasena Party supremo Pawan Kalyan unearthed an issue that matters the most is his own style. Pawan Kalyan lashes out at Jagan and his government as e-service employees have lost their jobs in Andhra Pradesh. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has brought in a new village secretariat system and changed all the services available in the service centers to them.
As a result, most of these e-Seva service centers were closed. For those who are working in those centers and whose livelihood depends on the employment provided by the centers are in deep trouble. At the same time, during the lockdown, those working there are not even being paid salaries. No single political party cared about them. The Janasena chief brought their plight to the attention of the government.
In an open letter to the government, Pawan Kalyan said that there were 607 people in various jobs in urban e-service centers across the state, all of whom were in dire straits due to non-receipts of salaries for months. He said that families are in need of guaranteed employment for their livelihood. “They need to support those who have been believing in e-service jobs for 17 years,” Kalyan added.
Pawan could have raised this issue when the AP government gave a call to all the Sachivalayam employees to celebrate the efforts they did put to support the government. However, he didn’t want to spoil the mood of the government employees and pronounced the ugly state of the employees to the CM of Andhra Pradesh in the efficient way possible.
