One berth for each district in Jagan cabinet?

It has been officially confirmed now that the formation of Andhra Pradesh cabinet headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will take place at 9.50 am on June 8.

According to the official scheduled released by the state government, the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers will take place at Secretariat grounds in Velagapudi.

Prior to that Jagan will occupy the chief minister’s chamber in block No. 1 at 8.30 am. Necessary changes are being made in the chamber as per the needs of Jagan.

The gathering of guests will commence at 9.15 am and the oath-taking ceremony will begin at 9.50 am and end at 11.30 am with group photograph and refreshments. It will be followed by a full-fledged cabinet meeting at 11.50 am.

Sources said in the first phase, Jagan will take only 13 ministers, representing each of 13 districts. Depending on the necessity and compulsions, he might expand his cabinet later, inducting some more ministers.

According to reliable sources, the names that might figure in the first phase of cabinet are: Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy (Chittoor), Meda Mallikarjun Reddy (Kadapa), Mekapati Gautam Reddy (Nellore), Balineni Srinivas Reddy (Ongole), Buggana Rajendranath Reddy (Kurnool), Botsa Satyanarayana (Vizianagaram), Dharmana Prasada Rao (Srikakulam), Kodali Venkateshwar Rao alias Nani (Krishna), Sankar Narayana (Anantapur), T Bala Raju (West Godavari), Pilli Subash Chandra Bose (East Godavari), Avanthi Srinivas (Visakhapatnam).
