Prabhas’ magnum opus ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is gearing up to hit the screens on 22nd December. The expectations are sky-high on this action flick directed by Prasanth Neel. There are only 10 days left for the film’s release and all the team did was to release the teaser and trailer which generated a mixed response. There is a talk of releasing another trailer but the makers will be announcing the date soon.
Other than that, neither the director nor the hero and heroine are promoting the film which is raising a lot of concerns. Shruti Hassan is very active on social media and constantly voices her opinions on public platforms. She even gives regular interviews but the Chennai beauty is not at all speaking about ‘Salaar’. We got to see her in one frame of the trailer. Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran is also not coming out in public and speaking about the movie.
Prabhas who is considered a huge introvert has tried his best to promote his previous works like ‘Saaho’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Adipurush’. With ‘Salaar’, he is nowhere to be seen in public. On top of everything, the movie is releasing on the same weekend as ‘Dunki’ which means that the team has to promote aggressively in the Northern market in order to get good business.
But the entire team decided to stay silent. While one can say that the team is so confident in the output that they decided not to promote the film altogether but Prabhas’ track record in recent times is worrying the fans and they are trying their best to stay positive regarding the first installment of ‘Salaar’. The movie got an ‘A’ certificate and has a runtime of almost three hours.
