He got 96 percent in a recruitment exam, but failed to get a job in railways. After fighting for years with railway officials, this young man is seeking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interference as his last choice.
The young man named Lalit Kumar appeared in the Northern Railway Group D exam in December 2013. Although Lalit secured 96 percent marks in the exam, he was not declared selected. He thought something went wrong and filed an appeal under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
The next year, Lalit got a reply from Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) that his entry was cancelled since he was involved in cheating. However, Lalit claimed he was truthful.
After his continuous trials, On August 10, the Central Information Commission (CIC) asked the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) to provide the reasons to Lalit within 30 days explaining why he was not selected.As a last trail, Lalit has now written to the Prime Minister’s Office, seeking justice.
