Dear Mr Pawan Kalyan,
I am writing this open letter as your well wisher. I am an engineering third year student from Andhra Pradesh. I am a hardcore fan of your films. I wanted to see you on the top even in politics when you started Jana Sena. But I understood that you are master in acting but illiterate in politics.
You may ask me what is my qualification to be so judgemental. It’s just common sense but nothing else. A successful politician plays his intelligence and emotions in right proportions, by not missing any opportunity in the process.
You don’t seem to be intelligent enough in hiding your political illiteracy. You sat along with Jaya Prakash Narayan, Vundavalli Arun Kumar, Padmanabhiah and all in the name of Fact Finding Committee before the recent elections. You appeared like a below average student who voluntarily sat amidst the political gurus to get some gyan. Well, that is good. Even I do approach my lecturers when I find it hard to take any difficult subject into my head. I thought that you took right path by taking tuitions on subjects relating to politics.
But you seem to have not understood even an iota of politics. Today, YS Jagan has announced Rs 1 Cr ex gratia. I personally don’t like him or his party. But had I been in your position, I would have posted a tweet appreciating him. Praising the opponent’s act when the majority people are emotionally connected to it, keeps the politician in good books of public. Otherwise, people may assume that you are jealous.
One of my friends in this regard spoke to me on phone today and said, “Mee vodiki intha kullu entra babu? BJP vaallu koodaa pogudutunte mee vodu silent gaa untaadenti? eppudu nerchukuntaadu raa babu politics? TDP vaallu emi antaaro choosi aa tarvaata spandistaadaa?”.
I got emotionally disturbed with his words. So, I wanted to convey this directly to you through this open letter. I don’t have any hope that you will shine in politics. But there is a small hope that you show some intelligence so that fans like me don’t get hurt by friends’ comments.
My family members say that even your brother Chiranjeevi used to appreciate the good in opponents during his PRP days. At least take something from him to score some respect. Finally, I wish you leave politics completely and come back to films and entertain fans like us.
Your big fan
Sirish Kumar
