Here’s a good news for the Congress Party in Nagarjunasagar assembly bypoll battle. Party’s young leader and fiery orator Revanth Reddy is back in action. He has plunged himself into the party campaign from Friday.
Sources said that Revanth’s joining of the Congress campaign is good news as reports indicate that party candidate Jana Reddy is increasingly finding the going quite tough. Though initially, he was fancied to have a facile win, the situation is gradually changing. The TRS is giving a tough fight and even KCR is set to address a public meeting as part of the electioneering. Revanth Reddy was under home quarantine for the last fortnight after he tested Covid positive. Now, he is said to be fighting fit and joined the campaign from Friday.
Telangana Congress affairs incharge Manickam Tagore has directed all the key leaders of the party to camp in Nagarjunasagar for at least a week and conduct a focused campaign. Already Uttam Kumar Reddy is campaigning for Jana Reddy for the past one week. Other leaders too are likely to join soon.
