Charan Still Remembers Toofan’s Punch
In 2013, Ram Charan unsuccessfully tested Bollywood waters with the disastrous cop action drama Zanzeer. The film, released as Toofan in Telugu, gave a devastating nightmare to Mega fans, who conveniently forgot about its release long back. For his Bollywood debut where he played a menacing cop, Cherry made a huge blunder by over workouts.
This resulted in his facial charm taking a major hit and Charan looked shabby on screen which in turn affected his acting too, with critics ripping apart his performance calling it ‘expression less’. Now, Charan is not repeating the same mistake for Dhruva, the remake of Thani Oruvan.
Charan works out regularly and always maintains a fit body, so he is not putting in any additional efforts to suit his cop’s role in Dhruva. However, Charan will be seen sporting the typical cop’s crew cut which will give a solid on-screen impact.

We learnt that, Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte will have mature relationship as husband and wife. This is first association for them, but they expected to have fascinating bonding between them. Apparently, the makeup man tried hard to make Radhika look like a middle aged lady.
Rajinikanth, on the other hand, is still looking handsome in the suit. Dhansika is playing a prominent role in the flick that has music rendered by Santhosh Narayanan.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali is billed to be a gangster thriller, where Rajinikanth will be seen as a don. The film was mostly shot in Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Interim, Kabali is planned to be released in Tamil and Telugu on 14th April for Tamil New Year’s Day.
Sharwanand recycles his old film with a new title!
Sharwanand and Nitya Menen paired up in the direction of a Tamil director, Cheran for a film titled ‘Yemito Ee Maaya’ in 2012. The movie was to release in 2013 but is lying in cans due to various issues.
Back then, Senior producer, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is the producer of the film and now he is out of the project. N.Venkatesh is now the producer of the film on his Brindavan Pictures Banner. The new producer is bringing back the film.

Tamil director Cheran has directed the film. Both Telugu and Tamil versions will see light on the same day as the Telugu version. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. Lets see if Sharwanand continues the success streak with this delayed film as well!

Mudragada Ashamed Of Naidu!
After keeping silent for a few weeks, Kapu strongman and former minister Mudragada Padmanabham is back in action with his demand for inclusion of Kapus into the Backward Classes list.
With all the political parties deserting him for his meek surrender to Telugu Desam Party president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu after the high-voltage Kapu agitation in January, Mudragada has now started attacking the government for hoodwinking the Kapu community with empty promises.
“Naidu has cheated me by making false promises. He has not implemented even a single promise. He said he would immediately distribute Rs 500 crore loans to Kapus, but washed off his hands by distributing only Rs 100 crore among the yellow-shirts masquerading as Kapus.
Cases were filed against the Kapu leaders who took part in my rally. None of my suggestions was considered in the constitution of Kapu commission. And there is no talk of allocating Rs 1,000 crore for Kapus in the budget. I now feel ashamed for withdrawing the agitation by believing Naidu’s promises,” he said.
Mudragada declared that he would restart the agitation in three or four days to press for his demands. But one doubts whether there would be any takers for his agitation, as he proved a dud by succumbing to Naidu’s pressures in withdrawing the recent agitation.
Land Scam: Naidu In Damage Control Mode
The exposure of massive land scam running into crores of rupees in and around the new capital city of Amaravati has landed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in deep trouble.
Right from the beginning, there have been allegations that there was huge land mafia in selecting Tulluru (presently Amaravati core area) for capital construction, ignoring the expert committee recommediation of Donakonda-Martur area of Prakasam district, only because the land mafia being run by a particular community had purchased large tracts of land in and around Amaravati area. The Sakshi expose on Wednesday clearly established these allegations.
The report created ripples in the Naidu cabinet and the Chief Minister immediately plunged into action to do the damage control.
He instructed his close confidants in the Cabinet including Prattipati Pulla Rao and Narayana to see that not a single evidence should be there to prove illegal land transactions of Lokesh or other TDP leaders.
“After ensuring that there are no documentary evidences on benami land transactions, both the ministers held a press conference and challenged the YSRC leaders to prove the allegations. They even said they would donate all the benami lands, if they have any, to the landless poor,” sources said.
