Telangana TDP’s firebrand leader and the party’s working president Revanth Reddy has once again lashed out at his arch rival and the state’s CM KCR. Revanth said that KCR turned all his party leaders into his slaves and that he is using his ministers to make drinks from him and his MLAs to sweep his floors.

Speaking in the Maha Dharna in Sirpur Kaghaznagar demanding the government to reopen the Sirpur Paper Mill at the earliest, Revanth said that 12 employees have committed suicide since the last one year due to the closure of the paper mill and that KCR is showing zero interest towards the employees’ plight.

Revanth further alleged that KCR is conspiring to wipe out the opposition in the state thought Operation Akarsh. Revanth stated that TDP will give 100 seats to young leaders in the 2019 polls and that 50% of those seats will be allotted to minorities and the poor.

Over the past few months, Telangana government has been toying with the idea of expanding KCR’s camp office at the current Begumpet pad. The new building will spread across 9 acres and a whopping 35 crores will be spent on the new office.

Following KCR’s green signal to the building’s design, the construction will begin soon and KCR will shift to the new building on the auspicious Vijaya Dasami. The new office will feature 100% vastu and vastu expert Suddala Ashok Teja has already approved the building’s vastu plan.

KCR’s new camp office will feature CM’s bungalow cum office space in 2 acres and the remaining 7 acres will boast a 250 seater auditorium, parking facility for 300 vehicles, conference room and CM security staff quarters.

The existing camp office was built during the late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s reign in 2005 with an expenditure of 10 crores. After YSR’s demise, successive CMs K Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy too used the same office during their tenure.

Chandrababu’s Fresh Promise, A Big Joke

Chandrababu-Naidu-2

The ruling party leader and CM Chandrababu Naidu is garnering enough blame for public and oppositions as his claims of friendship and influence with centre is not showing any sync or relevance with the latest railway budget.

Though it was totally unexpected about Railway minister Suresh prabhu showing empty hands rather announcing the new railway zone for AP with Waltair division as headquarters joining Rayapur to Visakhapatnam. It was a long pending dream for the people of Andhra and one more financial year budget is out without a topic of new railway zone.

While the public and civil organisations are highly disappointed with this decision of centre about the most deserved division, Chandrababu with his new promises became a laughing riot. Chandrababu is promising and is confident about getting the new railway zone very soon, when the same was not mentioned in annual budget.

After bagging all the blame for his unwanted hype and hungama about capital, his unfulfilled promises, the fresh claims for new railway zone became more than joke. Looks like the days are over for exclusive friendship of Chandrababu with Centre.

What AP Wanted In Budget & What It Got

budget

Looks like the glorious honeymoon between TDP and BJP is in its final stages. Looking at BJP’s response to AP’s long pending demands and needs with the recently introduced railway budget and today’s union budget, cracks in the TDP-BJP friendship are seen wide and clear.

Days before the introduction of budget in Lok Sabha today, Chandrababu made repeated requests to Modi and Jaitley for additional funds to the 7 backward districts in the state.

Here are some of the demands made by Chandrababu to the centre:

Sanction of subsidies for investments in Amaravati

Setting up of infrastructure in the capital city

Funds for the Vijayawada and Vizag metro projects

The long pending demand of special status for the state

4,000 crore for Amaravati construction

4,000 crore for Polavaram project

3,500 crore for the development of national institutions in the state

Even after understanding AP’s justified demands, the BJP government offered peanuts to AP in the union budget. Following are the funds allocated to the state in for the fiscal year 2016-17:

Polavaram Project – Rs. 100 Crore

Vijayawada Metro – Rs.100 Crore

IIT – Rs. 20 crore

Tirupati IIT – Rs. 40 crore

IIM Visakhapatnam – Rs. 30 crore

NIT Tadepalligudem – Rs. 40 crore

Tirupati IISCR – Rs. 40 crore

Visakhapatnam Steel Plant – Rs.1678 crore

Visakhapatnam Port Trust – Rs. 231.61 crore

Central University – Rs. 1 crore

Girijan University – Rs. 1 crore

The total budget allotted to AP amounts to Rs. 24,637.36 Crore where as the state government submitted proposal worth Rs. 1.8 lakh crore.

Stage Set For Pawan’s Breakup?

Time and again, there have been several reports about the cracks in the friendship between the Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu and Modi, whom he vouched for in the 2014 polls. Even Pawan was upset with Chandrababu during Amaravati land acquisition and with Modi for not keeping his special status promise.

And the latest is that Pawan is hugely upset with Modi and Chandrababu once again. Pawan, who is busy with Sardaar’s shooting, followed the yesterday’s union budget and was let down by the BJP government offering peanuts to Telugu states. Pawan was hoping that the Modi government will make up for their special status deceit by allocating a large amount of funds to AP.

Also, Pawan has been closely observing the YSRCP defections to the TDP and is reportedly miffed with the way Babu is openly going all out with the crossovers. Pawan is a man of principles and he himself admired Babu for his appreciative political acumen in the past, but the defections are something which he isn’t happy with.

With both his trusted friends following their own dubious ways, it is apparent that Pawan will part ways with them and their ways of politics. Meanwhile, Pawan has already started an ambitious plan of procuring a huge amount of money to take on Babu and BJP in the 2019 general elections.
