Nara and Nandamuri scions in Balayya’s 100
This morning we have seen a news of Creative director Krishna Vamsi directing Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Prestigious 100th project. There are more rumours floating about the film all of sudden. It is said that Nara Rohit will be seen in a guest appearance in the film while Tarakaratna will be playing the villain role.
The Creative director was planning to direct the actor for a very long time and even had the script readied long ago. Finally the actor gave his nod for the project. This film will go on floors in May. Krishna Vamsi already started the pre-production work and is also working on the casting of the film.
This is revealed by a report of a news agency and is to be confirmed officially. Balakrishna is keen on bagging a huge success with this film. His last two films – Lion and Dictator ended up as big disasters. He wants to make amends for that with this film. A hit here will ensure that the prestigious 100th film is etched in the memory of fans for a long long time.
Samantha’s new milestone on Twitter
Tollywood’s Top heroine Samantha had managed a small but memorable milestone. The actress has crossed 2 Million Followers mark on Twitter. This makes the actress the third most popular southern actress on the microblogging site after Shruti Haasan (3.4 Million) and Trisha (2.4 Million).
Her popularity in Telugu and Tamil industries helped this feat. The actress for some reason has disappeared from Twitter for the last few months and recently made a comeback. Besides film, Samantha is also famous for the charity work she does through her Pratyusha foundation.

Tamil Pataas all set for First Look Teaser Release
We know that Raghava Lawerence is doing the remake of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Pataas and it is titled Motta Siva Ketta Siva. Sai Ramani is wielding megaphone for this remake project. The shooting of the movie is nearing completion. The makers are planning to release the first look teaser of the film on 7th of this month.
Nikki Galrani will feature as the lead lady while usual names from the Lawrence camp like Kovai Sarala, Sreeman, Devadarshini, Manobala will be seen in supporting roles. Kattappa Sathyaraj will be seen in an important role. RB Choudary is producing the film under his Super Good Films banner.
After the release of this film, Lawerence will begin the shooting of his Telugu – Tamil bilingual project, Naga Bhairava. The movie will be a horror thriller. Bandla Ganesh will be producing the film on his Parameshwara Arts Banner. High end visuals effects are going to be the USP of this movie. The project is all set to go on sets in April month. Cast and crew are still in finalization stages.
Dasaradh working on Mr.Perfect Sequel?
Director Dasaradh is awaiting the release of his next, Shourya which is seeing light this Friday. Dasaradh’s last film, Greekuveerudu was a miserable flop, and so the success of this film is extremely necessary. Dasaradh in an interview, revealed that he is currently working on the sequel of his Mr.Perfect.
He revealed that Prabhas asked him to come up with a clean family entertainer and he is working on the sequel to their succcessful film. Mr.Perfect is the biggest hit in Prabhas’ career back then. The film cemented Prabhas’ popularity in family audience which he acquired with Darling back then.
Prabhas’ popularity graph is soaring post the super success of Baahubali – The Beginning. He is currently busy shooting for his Baahubali – The Conclusion. Besides this project, Prabhas also has a film with Run Raja Run fame Sujeeth and another in his uncle, Krishnam Raju’s direction. Dasaradh has to come up with a very good script for the project to happen!
Shourya Censor Report
Manchu Manoj’s latest offering, Shourya has completed its censor formalities a short while ago. The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad awarded the film with U/A certificate with some minor cuts. All the decks before the movie release on March 4th are now cleared. The makers are planning the biggest ever release in Manoj’s career for the film.
Manoj is with out a proper hit for a very long time. He changed gears and is attempting a class film to be back in winning ways. According to the sources, Shourya as the story of an innocent educated Laddu guy. There is no single fight in the film, a different experiment for Manoj after a long time
Regina Cassandra will be seen as the female lead opposite Manoj in this film. This is her first time opposite the actor. Dasaradh of Santosham and Mr.Perfect fame is wielding megaphone for this film. M. Sivakumar, who earlier produced Nikhil’s Surya vs Surya is the producer for this flick. A new comer, Veda has composed music for the film.

KCR shocks Balayya?
Couple of years ago, Telangana CM KCR shocked Akkineni Nagarjuna by issuing encroachment notices to his N-Convention in Hyderabad. The state government also demolished some constructions in the N-Convention compound back then. Now it is the turn of Nandamuri Balakrishna who also happens to be brother-in-law of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
GHMC had issued notices to the actor cum politician, that they will acquire some land from Balakrishna’s house on the corner of Road No 45, for a flyover project. TDP leaders are alleging that this is harrassment tactics from the state government. Lets see if Balayya surrender the land or take up a legal battle.
Interestingly this happened few weeks after Balakrishna meeting CM K Chandrasekhar Rao over regularization of his Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. Balakrishna meeting KCR drew flak from own party men and now this provoking act of the government further irked them.
Chakri family members on roads for his properties
Music director Chakri left this mortal World almost two years ago, but the family is still being in news for some reason or other. We have already seen Chakri’s mother, Vidyavathi and wife Shravani complaining on each other for the right on Chakri’s properties. The issue is currently in courts.
On the other side, one more controversy erupted between them. Chakri’s mother and brother today sat for a fast before Varun Sargham Villa, Somajiguda. They say they own a flat in the apartment which was purchased with the money of Chakri and his father but is registered on Chakri’s name. They allege that the tenant is not giving rent for the last eight months.
They say they are paying the installments on the flat loan. According to the tenant, they have a rental agreement with Chakri’s wife and will only have to pay her the rent. Whatever may be the issue, family members of their favourite music director, coming on roads like this is disappointing Chakri’s fans a lot.
