Power Cut To YSRCP’s Fan By Evening?
The stage is all set for a major tide in Rayalaseema politics. YSRCP’s Nandyala MLA Bhuma Nagireddy this afternoon resigned to his Parliamentary Accounts Committe (PAC) Chairman’s post and he will be meeting TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu to discuss about his entry into TDP this evening.
After submitting his resignation a while ago, Bhuma told the media that he will tell everything about his political plans very soon. Along with Bhuma, his daughter and Allagadda YSRCP MLA Akhila Priya too is set to shift her loyalties to TDP.
Already, Chandrababu spoke with the AP TDP president Kala Venkatarao, Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy and Bhuma’s arch rivals, the Silpa brothers – Silpa Chakrapani Reddy and Silpa Mohan Reddy, about the consequences and future developments in Kurnool with the inclusion of Bhuma into TDP.
Bhuma’s latest move is being seen as a huge shock to YSRCP, which is already reeling from several leadership issues in the Rayalaseema region. In another update, at least 5 other YSRCP MLAs are ready to bid adieu to Jagan and join the yellow brigade very soon.
Jammalamadugu MLA Adi Narayana Reddy and Bobbli MLA Sujaya Krishna Rangarao are said to be the two prominent YSRCP leaders who are ready to disrupt power to YSRCP’s fan. More clarity on the entry of the Bhuma father-daughter duo and other YSRCP leaders into TDP will emerge by this evening.
Good Movie, Weak Collections
In these times of formula-ridden films, rarely do we get to watch a racy and riveting drama which is full of twists and thrills. Last Friday saw the release of Malupu, a Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil film Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka.
Malupu stars Aadhi Pinisetty and it is directed by Satya Prabhas Pinisetty, both the sons of senior Telugu director Raviraja Pinisetty. Thanks to its intriguing plot and excellent execution, Malupu opened to highly positive critic reviews and good word of mouth.
However, lack of a crazy combo and Aadhi and Satya Prabhas being not too popular stars in Tollywood and no biggie backing the film, Malupu’s box-office collections are pretty weak and the film is not getting a decent footfall.
It is disheartening to see such a good thriller failing to get the audiences it deserves. All said and done, Malupu is that one genuinely good film which should not be missed in the theaters.
Tamannah follows Nagarjuna
King Nagarjuna is dubbing for his role in Thozha, the Tamil version of his next, Oopiri. And now Milky Beauty Tamannah is also following him and will be dubbing herself for her role in Oopiri. Incidentally, she is also dubbing her voice for the first time in Tamil for ‘Dharma Durai’ in which she is acting along with Vijay Sethupathy.
Tamannah is a Gujarati and can speak well in Telugu and Tamil. She will very soon begin Oopiri dubbing. The audio release event of Oopiri will take place on February 28th and that will kick start the film promotions. Oopiri and Thozha are being planned for March 25th release.
Oopiri is the official remake of French film, Untouchables. The director had made some changes to the script to suit our nativity. Nagarjuna is seen as a patient suffering from mysterious disease while Karthi is his care taker. The story theme will justify the caption, Celebration of Life.

Nayantara to offer Bikini Treat yet again
Nayantara mesmerized her fans and common audience with her super sleek figure in bikini some years ago in Prabhas’ Billa. However the actress is now staying completely away from the sexy costume saying that she is no longer convenient with it.
It is said that the actress is imposing a condition to her makers that she will not be donning that costume at any cost in their future projects. But this is all past. The actress is reportedly donning Bikini and will be appearing in some hot scenes in her next project, Irumurgan opposite Vikram.
This may be a constious decision from Nayantara so as to cope up the pressure of competition from new generation heroines. Post her fall out with Prabhudeva, Nayantara is also being very selective in her Telugu films.
She is mostly confined to Tamil cinema where she is still the most in-demand heroine. She only acted in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Anamika in Telugu after that and now is starring opposite Venkatesh in Babu Bangaram.
Confusion over Varun Tej’s next!

Mega Prince Varun Tej tasted a big flop with his last film, Loafer. He was to work with his Kanche director, Krish in a new project titled Rayabhari. But the project was shelved with out going on to sets.
Later they said Varun will be working with a new comer, Venkee Atluri in a film titled ‘Feel My Love’. But now rumours are emerging that Varun Tej gave a green signal to Srinu Vaitla. It is said that Vaitla dropped his famous Comedy genre and narrated a Love Story for Varun.
It impressed Varun a lot and he reportedly gave green signal to him despite Vaitla giving a miserable flop to his brother, Ram Charam. Varun Tej is desperately in need of a big hit now. He is trying his level best to establish as a star hero.
On the other side, Vaitla is also in slump following two back to back disasters with Aagadu and Bruce Lee. And so if this project materializes, it will be very important for both of them.
Ram Gopal Varma in Research Mode
It is known that Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is making a film titled Vangaveeti. The film is about the rivalry between Devineni and Vangaveeti families decades ago which panned out in to a war between two castes and took lives on both the sides.
The ace director is in Vijayawada to do some research on the real life story that happened in 190s. RGV is reportedly getting erected the replicating popular Kaleswara Rao market of Vijayawada as a set in Mumbai. Ramu is currently shooting for his first international project, Veerappan.
After the completion of the film, he will take up the shooting of Vangaveeti and he already announced that it will be his last Telugu film. RGV is adopting the Hollywood approach for the film wherein multiple units will be functioning with line producers on the spot.
The shooting will take place simultaneously in Hyderabad and Mumbai simultaneously. RGV will be monitoring entire thing from Mumbai. The shooting will begin some time in next month.
Mega Star Makes Fun Of Himself!
Indian Mega Star Amitabh Bachchan is well-known for his simplicity, down-to-earth nature. Proving this yet again, he has shown his modesty by making fun of himself.
Sharing an old picture of him which he had sent for Filmfare for the auditions, Amitabh wrote on his Twitter page, “This the picture I sent to FilmfareMadhuri Contest to join films .. is it any wonder they rejected me !! ” In fact, Big B had openly admitted on several platforms that he wasn’t good looking for which he lost several offers in the industry.
He also shared how he struggled in getting roles due to his height, looks which he later turned them into his strengths. It can also be recalled that Amitabh was rejected by All India Radio in his early days of career citing his voice wasn’t good.
Now it’s well-known that how many fans Amitabh has garnered across the globe for his voice. Even Amitabh’s Kaun Banega Crorepati was huge hit because of his anchoring skills, witty talk and of course his base voice.
Certainly there’s a lot to learn for younger lot from Amitabh’s experience in the industry as he had turned many odds into opportunities. After all, there’s one and only Amitabh Bachchan.
