Chiranjeevi reigned over Tollywood for year as Megastar and flops were crushed in his Juggernaut journey. The biggest struggle Chiru ever had seems to be with 150th movie. Unofficially, the search for Megastar’s 150th or 151st story ended after locking on with Kaththi remake, but getting it materialized is a never ending story.

If we look at Chiru’s 150th saga, numerous hiccups and hurdles stopped it from happening till date. First it was his political entry, later the elections, followed by serious search for script, zeroing in on a director, Puri Jagannath’s first half and the list goes on. The latest we hear is a writer claiming Kaththi’s original story as his own and the conflict stopped Chiru from going any further.

And now, there is one sweet hurdle for Megastar’s 150th film and Chiranjeevi must be more than glad for getting his 150th delayed for it. Its his most pampered young daughter Srija’s wedding on March 28th at Hyderabad. Srija is getting married to Businessman Captain Kishan’s son Kalyan.

Chiranjeevi and Mega family are super busy with wedding festivities and 150th is more delayed project now. Never mind, Chiru is not bothered about 150th now, as these wedding moments are more precious than anything for him!

So far, none of the team members of Tollywood’s numero uno director SS Rajamouli directed a successful film. After the likes of Mahadev, Trikoti and recently Jagadeesh Talasila, Rajamouli’s AD on Shanthi Nivasam serial Chuniya will be testing her luck with Padesave.

Now, Rajamouli’s brother SS Kanchi will be making his directorial debut with a  low budget film. The film will star Ranadheer Reddy and Shanvi and Kanchi and Rajamouli’s brother MM Keeravani may compose the music, while some noted Tollywood technicians will work for the film.

Kanchi works on all of Rajamouli’s films and he even provided the story for Sunil’s Maryada Ramanna and even acted in the popular train sequence in the film. Kanchi also acted in Rajamouli’s Sye. Will Kanchi be able to change Rajamouli’s forgettable track record of assistants turned failed directors?

Here’s the most awaited first look poster of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming romantic drama, Premam. Naga Chaitanya kills it with his charming smile and his new image makeover with that thick beard. In Premam, Chay will be seen in three getups that of a teenage boy, a college student and a late twenties man.

After several months of dilly-dallying over the film’s title, the makers have finally zeroed in on Premam as against the much discussed title, Majnu. Chay’s Premam is an official remake of the Malayali blockbuster Premam.

Chandoo Mondeti directs Premam while Shruti Haasan, Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian will be seen as the film’s leading ladies.

Mehreen who recently made her filmy debut with Nani’s Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha, just bagged the second offer in Tollywood. She will be romancing Sai Dharam Tej is his upcoming project which will be directed by BVS Ravi. Dil Raju will be producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner.

It is said that she was also approached to play the female lead besides Kalyan Ram in his next to be directed by Puri Jagannadh. She is yet to sign the dotted line for this project. If she manages to bag hit with either of these films, then she will definitely become a hot property in the industry.

Mehreen is currently in the success tour of Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha. Despite the positive talk, the movie is not performing up to its talk and the makers are trying their level best to boost the collections with promotional gimmicks.

Dialogue King Sai Kumar is signed to play an important role in Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage. Sources say he will be playing the role of NTR’s father in the movie. Sai Kumar’s inclusion will make the cast further stronger. The film will start rolling from later this month.

The makers have erected a special set worth 2.5 Crore for this film shoot at Saradhi Studios. The makers will be shooting the Flashback sequences of the film involving Mohanlal first. Tarak will join the shoot in the second schedule after a week of the shooting start date.

They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Koratala Siva who delivered blockbusters like Mirchi and Srimanthudu is wielding megaphone for this film.

Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and he recently began the music sitting of the film. Samantha and Nitya Menen are said to be the female leads in the movie which will be produced by Srimanthudu producer Mythri Movies Makers.
