In November last year, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her industrialist husband Raj Kundra entered the smartphone industry when they launched Vivaan Mobile, named after their son Vivaan. Shilpa and Raj entered the smartphone industry through Hindusthan Safety Glass Industries (HSGI).

At the ongoing Make In India expo in Mumbai, Shilpa Shetty and the HSGI officials visited the Make In Telangana stall and held preliminary discussions with the officials of the Telangana Industries Ministry and expressed their interest in setting up their mobile manufacturing unit.

Buoyed by the positive discussions, the ministry officials say that the deal will be inked very soon. Already, leading players in the mobile industry Micromax and Celkon set up their mobile manufacturing units in Telangana.

Finally after several months long silence, the buzz is back on Megapower Star Ram Charan’s next film, an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. The film will have its formal launch on February 18 and the regular shooting will kickstart from the 21st.

Tentatively titled Dhruva, the film is said to be releasing on August 5. Now, just a week later, NTR’s Janatha Garage will be hitting the marquee as the makers have already announced that they are aiming at a 12th August release for Janatha Garage.

Originally planned for April 8 release, producer Aravind decided to push the film’s release as Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh is due for release on same day. A fresh date is yet to be announced.
