The makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 have erected a modern hi-fi city set in the Poonamalli region in Chennai. The set reportedly costed a whopping 20 Crore for the makers and the shooting in this set will begin from 18th of this month. The makers have roped in renowned Hollywood action choreographer Kenny Bates for 2.0.

Kenny previously worked for some hit films like Transformers, Pearl Harbour and Mission Impossible in the past. We are said that the makers have fixed ‘Chitti 2.0’ as the title of the film and they have also registered the title with the film chamber. Bollywood Star Hero Akshay Kumar was roped in to play an important role.

Akshay Kumar will join the movie shoot in March. Oscar Award Music Director AR Rahman will be composing music for the film. Rest of the crew include crew cinematographer Nirav Shah, Art Director Muthuraj, VFX Supervisor Srinvas Mohan, Editor Antony and Rasool Pookutty handling the Sound Designing.

The first look of Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu will be unveiled on 19th of this month on the occasion of Producer Radha Krishna’s Birthday. The team will be releasing couple of posters from the film.

Chaitanya will be seen as Vikram in the film while Shruti Hassan will be seen as Sitara in the movie. Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti is wielding megaphone for this remake film.

Shruti Hassan is playing the main female lead in Majnu. Premam girls – Anupama Parameshwaran and Madonna Sebastine are also acting in this film. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh will be seen in cameo roles.

Year 1975 marked a turning point in the career of senior actress Lakshmi who brought heat to entire Indian youth with her film ‘Julie’. The film turned the eyes of many with its revealing posters and the content also connected many making it a huge hit.

Eventually in the year 2004 Deepak Sivadasani made ‘Julie’, with same title but a different story altogether. Neha Dhupia acted in this and again turned talk of the tinsel town, though not to the degree of stardom what Lakshmi enjoyed earlier.

Now after 12 years Deepak Sivadasani decided to do a sequel to his Julie with title ‘Julie-2’ and casted Lakshmi Rai in title role. So, the film title that created hot waves 40 years ago is again going to do the same. Incidentally, the film that started with Lakshmi is ending with Lakshmi now.

Rakul Preet Singh is the most sought heroine in Telugu film industry today. She is the first choice heroine for any star film starting in the industry. After Nannaku Prematho, there were rumours that Rakul is increased her remuneration by several folds. There are also rumorus that she is stealing roles of the other heroines.

The actress in an interview rubbished all the rumours. She defended the remuneration hike by saying that she is only charging as per the demand. She also rubbished outrightly the rumours of stealing rumours. The slender beauty seem to have got hurt very much with these rumours. The actress is pairing up with Ram Charan in his next.

This is back to back pairing of Charan and Rakul after Bruce Lee. She is also romancing Bunny in Sarainodu which will release in Summer and is also committed to do a film with Nithin. Rakul Preet Singh is charging any where between 2 to 2.5 Crore for a film according to rumour mills.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s next project, Sarainodu will have its first look teaser launch on 18th of this month. The recently released first look poster increased the expectations on the film and the fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the teaser. The pre-release business of the film picked pace all of sudden.

The movie is planned for April 8th release as Bunny’s Birthday Special. Anjali will be seen in a special song in the film. There are rumours that Bunny will be making his singing debut with this film and he crooned a song in the movie.Both Bunny and Boyapati are on a high after their recent successes – S/O Satyamurthy and Legend.

Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Bunny for the first time in this film. Gundello Godari fame Aadi Pinnisetty is turning baddie with this movie. Bunny’s father Allu Aravind is producing the film on his Geeta Arts Banner. SS Thaman is scoring the music.
