Beauty Not Increased, Case Filed On Superstar
A man named K Chaathu from Wayanad district in Kerala has filed a case on Malayali Superstar and legendary actor Mammootty claiming that even after using the Indulekha soap which Mammootty endorsed, his beauty did not increase. Mammootty is a well known actor among Telugu audiences for his memorable roles in K Vishwanath’s Swathi Kiranam and Mani Ratnam’s Dalapathy.
In one of the print advertisements for the soap, Mammootty posed for the soap ad which has a tagline, “Soundaryam Ningale thedi varum” (Beauty will come in search of you). However, Chaathu, in his petition to the consumer court, stated that he did not notice any changes in his beauty even after using the soap regularly.
Accusing Mammootty and the soap manufacturers, Indulekha, of making fake claims through advertisements, Chaathu has demanded 50,000 towards damage charges. The district consumer court in Wayanad ordered the star and the soap company representatives to appear before the court on 22nd September.
In the past too, film stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Genelia, Madhuri Dixit etc were entangled in similar cases.
19 killed as truck overturns Near Rajahmundry
A driver’s negligence sourced 19 deaths. A heavy truck (AP 31 TB 7704) carrying cement and fly ash overturned at Gandepalli in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh wee hours today (September 14).
At least 19 labor were killed and many are injured in the incident. 16 people were rescued and shifted to Rajahmundry government hospital. As per reports, condition of three people is still serious. The victims belong to Kathipudi and Sankhavaram villages. The labor got into the truck at Eluru by-pass road, few minutes before the incident took place.
The accident occurred 2 am this morning on national highway 214. The truck was on its way from Vijayawada to Vizag when this ill-fated incident took place. Driver’s negligence, perhaps as a result of sleeplessness, is suspected to be reason for the accident. Both driver and cleaner are absconding.

Top Heroine Spotted with Baby Bump
Rani Mukherjee was recently spotted with her baby bump. She was flanked by her husband-director Aditya Chopra. She was clad in a floral dress happily showing off her baby bump. Though Rani has not officially made any announcement about her pregnancy, reports have already confirmed her pregnancy.
It’s buzzed that couple Rani and Aditya Chopra are expecting their first child sometime in January. Rani is already in her second trimester.
The couple reportedly chosen a top hospital in South Mumbai for Rani’s delivery. Rani has been out of country for the past few months and is consulting a Mumbai based doctor. It’s indeed good news as Chopra family is waiting for a new addition to their family.
Chandrababu Appreciates Mahesh Babu
And now it’s the turn of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to heap praises on Mahesh Babu’s latest offing Srimanthudu. Mr Naidu, who has been wanting to watch the movie, finally catch up the film on Sunday (Sep 13th) and impressed with the film based on village adoption.
After watching the film, Chandrababu Naidu took to his micro-blogging page Twitter to share his feelings. “Watched #Srimanthudu @urstrulyMahesh. Great movie on giving back to society. Glad that the message reflects ‘Smart Village Smart Ward’,” wrote Mr Naidu.
Till date, several politicians from political fraternity have watched the film and accolades poured in from them. The huge list of the politicians who watched Srimanthudu and liked include Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, MP Ram Mohan Naidu, MP Murali Mohan and several others.
Meanwhile, buzz has it that Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao would also watch the film as soon as he returns to Hyderabad from China.
‘Why Was Sachin Not Selected?’
Surprised? Well, so are the officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), when the BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya asked them “Why has Sachin Tendulkar not been included in the squad.” Apparently, Dalmiya made this comment when the board presented him the list of players selected for the recently concluded Sri Lankan tour.
It is well known that Sachin Tendulkar retired from all forms of cricket in 2013. And when probed further, it was learnt that Dalmiya has been suffering from amnesia, a neurological disease which makes people suffer from loss if memory. In another proof of his illness, BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur had to repeatedly prompt Dalmiya to read out what’s written, in a recent board meeting.
Apparently, the board members, even though are finding it hard to grapple with their president’s disease, they are in no position to find his replacement until his tenure expires in the year 2017.
It is well known that Jagmohan Dalmiya succeeded N Srinivasan as the President of BCCI.
First Movie Function At AP Capital Amaravati
Slowly and steadily, Andhra Pradesh new capital Amaravati is getting attention from film folks. Some people want to film movies there, while some want to showcase it in songs. Though the construction work is yet start in a massive scale, people want to bring an identity to it through films. And guess what, Nandamuri Balakrishna is on frontline in that connection.
Balayya is currently busy wrapping songs of “Dictator”, his 99th flick, in Bulgaria. Beautiful girls Anjali and Sonal Chauhan are romancing the senior hero in the exotic locales of the European nation. Latest update is that Balayya wants to conduct the audio function of this film at AP’s new capital, Amaravati.
He confirmed the same to his fans associations sometime back. We hear that all arrangements will be made for Hindupur MLA to do the first ever movie function at the newly coming up capital city.

Ram Charan announces his arrival for Dussehra!
Mega Power Star Ram Charan had dispelled all the doubts over the release of his next Bruce Lee and confirmed that the movie is releasing on October 16th as Dussehra Special. He confirmed it on his official facebook page.
Bruce Lee is running on tight schedules and so there are doubts the movie may lose the Dussehra reason but Charan confirmed that they are on track. The makers are adamant to make full use of the holiday season.
Bruce Lee also marks the comeback of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He will be seen in a 15 minutes cameo in the film. The actor is likely to join the shoot this week. Mega fans and as well as the trade are eagerly waiting for the movie release.
