The makers of Brahmotsavam have reached out to Sunil to play an important role in the movie. The role is an extended cameo and the makers have felt Sunil will be apt to that. However, the comedian turned hero rejected the offer citing dates issue.

Sunil is currently shooting two films – Dil Raju-Vasu Varma’s Krishnashtami and Vamsi Akella’s film and so found it tough to accomodate dates for Brahmotsavam. So he politely said Sorry to Brahmotsavam makers.

Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film. Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is hoping to recreate the magic once again. Brahmotsavam is planned for on March 25th, 2016 release as Summer special.

Most of VV Vinayak’s heroines are named Nandini. That’s a sentiment. Some of the iconic characters played by Shahrukh Khan are always named Raj or Rahul. Name of a hero or a heroine always creates a unique feeling for cinema lovers.

Even in upcoming Aa Aaa, hero’s name is Anand Vihari. Sometimes these names look like they were borrowed from other states, as Sahu sounds Odiya name while Narayan gives that Tamil colour, but still people are liking Trivikram’s crazy love for these names.

Sometimes our writer-director maintains that family connect in names, Raghunandan, Gautham Nanda and Sunanda are the example from Nanda family in Attarintiki Daredi, with every name having that nanda sound. Maybe after some years, all the characters names in Trivikram’s movies inspire parents to choose one among them for their kids.

Two Mega young heroes, Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej, are all set to greet Mega fans within a gap of one week. Sai’s Subramanyam For Sale is releasing on 24th September, while Varun’s Kanche is all set to release on 2nd October. Both the films will be releasing amidst heavy expectations from fans and buyers.

Both the films have cashed on the craze well in the pre-release business in Telugu states and as per the latest trade reports, Subramanyam For Sale is sold for a handsome 1.10 crore to the overseas distributors. On the other hand, Varun’s Kanche has been reportedly sold for 1.25 crore to its overseas buyers.

While both the figures may not sound too huge, it is indeed a whopping amount, considering the budding image of both these young Mega heroes. For comparison, Nani’s latest hit, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, was sold for just 55 lakhs and it already collected close to $1 million (6.5 crores).

At the times when Charan’s Bruce Lee was sold for 6 crores in overseas, looks like even Sai and Varun are catching up with their stardom abroad. Another advantage for both the films is that Subramanyam For Sale was shot majorly in the US and this will help local audiences relate to the film better and thus the craze will be good during its release.

And for Kanche, the striking World War II backdrop has already raised curiosity among the US audiences, who mostly prefer watching sensible films. So, it’s advantage Sai and Varun in overseas.

Superstar Mahesh’s Srimanthudu is almost done with collections. After collecting 80+ crore share from box office, definitely the film will get tired, though there are good numbers being raked up in some theatres. But the money what we are talking about is not related to Srimanthudu movie.

Whatever comments director Teja has made on Mahesh Babu and other actors, are not being looked as real criticism but that’s something to amass free publicity. Teja stated that actors like Mahesh adopt villages only to get exemption in Income Tax. Maybe that’s true or not, but the real thing for Teja is to promote his “Hora Hori” that is hitting cinemas today. All this criticism should work for him to trick people into theatres because his movies are no more pulling audiences due to repetitive and same content.

No matter what Teja says about others, his films are always looking like xerox copies of his own Jayam and that’s where people get confused. Let’s see if all the Mahesh bashing and covering will help Hora Hori in any angle. How much openings Mahesh’s controversy brings Teja?

One of the much awaited films of this season, Varun Tej’s Kanche, was initially set to launch its audio on 12th in Hyderabad. However, the film’s director Krish decided to move the audio laugh date and venue to enhance the event and the film’s connection even further.

As per the latest update, Kanche audio, composed by Bollywood composer Chirantan Bhatt, will be launched on 17th this month in Vizag. As per the latest update, a huge event is being planned in the Vizag Port Stadium to celebrate the grand event on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi.

Already, Varun raised the excitement levels among the fans by posing then a question, “what happened on 6th April on 1942 in Vizag.” When probed, it was revealed that Indian forces were attacked by Japanese forces in the Bay of Bengal in Vizag during the World War II.

Now, Kanche is also set against the backdrop of the World War ll and a majority of the film’s story is a connect between a Telugu village boy’s story with the war. Is Krish trying to connect the Vizag bombing episode to Kanche’s story? The latest promotional buzz by the film’s unit reveals so. Let’s wait until 2nd October to know the real story.

Probably Tollywood has not seen such a happening lover boy past the likes of Uday Kiran and then hero Siddharth. If Uday is gone forever, Siddu is upset with the results of his recent Telugu movies and moved to Chennai, to test the waters in kollywood.

Directed by newcomer Dheeraj Vaidy, this is Siddu’s second production venture after “Love Failure” movie. This film is a dark comedy and another speciality is that our hero will not have a heroine to romance. If put in a perspective, all these things sound quite interesting.
