Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s magnum opus Baahubali has smashed as many as box office records, not just in Tollywood, but also in other ‘woods’. However, few records are still safe from the film. As we reported earlier, Tuni town record is with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Indra. Here are other records, Baahubali couldn’t beat.

Anushka’s socio fantasy film Arundathi is highest grosser in Samarlakota, while Draksharam Town record is still with Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh. Ram Charan’s Magadheera holds the best performer in Kandukur, while Race Gurram’s single screen record (Geetha Apsara in Rajahmundry) is still unbroken.

Baahubali provided enormous profits to producers as well as distributors. Recently, overseas distributor reportedly returned the producer Rs 4 crores share amount from profits as a token of gratitude for giving distribution rights in the territory.

Currently, Rajamouli is fine tuning script of ‘Baahubali- The Conclusion’ that will hit floors in October. The film is expected to be much bigger than the first installment in all the aspects. So, the 2nd part has plentiful chances to break the above mentioned unbroken records.

The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad had completed the censor formalities of Nithin’s Courier Boy Kalyan. The movie was rated U/A with some very few minor cuts. With this all the decks are cleared for the movie release on September 17th as Vinayaka Chaviti Special.

The movie was stalled for release more than an year due to some difference between the makers and Tamil version hero, Jeeva. Finally the movie is releasing but the delay already got so much of damage to the movie as audience lost interest on it.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film finally reached Rajamouli’s compound. After rejecting Puri Jagannadh’s Auto Jhonny script due to the lack of punch, Chiranjeevi reportedly asked Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad for a suitable script.

It is said that Vijayendra Prasad told him there is no script ready with him and asked for some time more. Meanwhile Chiranjeevi is also watching few Tamil films to see if there is a chance of remake.

The actor is keen on starting the project by the end of the year and release it for Summer-2016. Before that he will be making his comeback with a little cameo in his son, Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee.

Our readers are aware that Sensational director Shankar is working on the script of the sequel project to his and Rajinikanth’s successful movie, Robot. Shankar had hired popular novelist and screenplay writer B.Jeymohan to help him in penning a solid story.

It is now emerging that Rajini was recently given a narration of the script and he was very much impressed with the way it is shaped out. The superstar reportedly gave a green signal to Shankar.

It is now said that the project will begin with a formal Pooja on December 12th on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s Birthday. Rajinikanth is planning to complete his shoot portions for Kabali directed by Ranjith Pa in a flash and move over to the sets of Robo 2 soon after.

While Samantha plays the main heroine, Malayalam Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran is the second heroine. It marks the Telugu debut of Anupama. The shooting begins in third week and will go non-stop till completion.

The makers are planning Sankranthi 2016 release for the movie. Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations will produce this youthful entertainer. They have previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and this will be his first time in Telugu.

Courier Boy Kalyan is a bilingual movie starring Nithin in Telugu and Jeeva in Tamil which was lying in cans for more than an year was brought out and was readied for release. After the most recent postponement, the movie is gearing up for September 16th release as Vinayaka Chaviti Special.

Now rumour mongers say the movie is a rip off from Hollywood movie Premium Rush (2012) staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt wherein a messenger lands in trouble. However Courier Boy Kalyan team says their work is original.

Ramoji film city is currently hosting three Mega Heroes – Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Sai Dharam Tej. Interestingly all the three of them are shooting fights for their upcoming films. Ram Charan under the supervision of Venkat Master is shooting a fight for Bruce Lee.

Allu Arjun is canning a high octane action sequence for his Sarainodu under Ram-Lakshman Masters supervision while Sai Dharam Tej is shooting for a chase cum fight in the action choreography of Williams.

Bruce Lee is currently rushing up things to complete the film and make sure it releases for Dussehra. On the other side, both Thikka and Sarainodu are in very early stages of their shoot.

A teasing song which goes like “Prema Ane Oka Pichchi..Neekekkista Gundello Baanam Guchchi” is currently being shot in Hyderabad right now. After this song shoot, only the introduction song is left to be canned for the shooting completion.

The audio release event of the movie will take place on September 12th and the movie will hit the marquee on October 2nd as Gandhi Jayanthi special. Touted to be an out and out mass action entertainer, the movie is directed by a debutante Srinivas Reddy.

The project was supposed to be for Nithin. But it was put off after the movie was launched due to some creative differences. Raashi Khanna is romancing Ram for the first time in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be shooting for an item song and Fight sequence in the current schedule planned at Nanakramguda. The schedule was to begin yesterday but was pushed to today due to rains.

After this schedule, they will be shifting to Ramoji film city and then come the crucial schedules. The movie will have two major schedules – one in Gujarat and the other in Ladakh. Especially Ladakh schedule is too tough due to the extreme conditions there.

The movie is being planned for Summer 2016 release. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film. This is the first time Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal are pairing up for a film. Vulturous beauty Lakshmi Rai will be seen in a special song of the film.
