The yesteryear actor, Suman, had experienced a great dip in his career during the peak time. He was been lashed with a blue film controversy and was even jailed for a few years. However, he is going on normally with a few character roles now.

During an interview to a news channel, Actor Suman clarified that the police did not able to prove the allegations against him. He further added that he was in Bangalore while the case on him was booked saying that he was in Chennai shooting something illegal. He said that the allegation of blue film till date was not proved and so it means it all.

Suman said that it was the newspaper who made false statements by using words like Blue Film while the charge sheet said that it is just as an habitual offender. However, now Suman’s life is going on smoothly.

Siva Karthikeyan is clearly the upcoming actor in Tamil cinema. His next release ‘Rajini Murugan’ under Ponram direction is releasing this 17th. The movie is releasing amidst huge expectations.

Now he is all set to act under his next project which will be directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. A close friend of Siva Karthikeyan RD Raja will be producing the movie under his banner 24AM Studios.

This paid way to new speculations. Could this meeting result in Goundamani and Siva to be the new combo in Tamil Cinema ?

The entry of Akhil Akkineni is the talk of the town and is rocking the Telugu film industry. Adding fuel to the fire, controversies favourite child-director Ram Gopal Varma stepped in by worsening the things. “Someone who saw Akhil’s rushes told me al Mega,super,power rebel,crazy stars hav 2 look for alternative professions like farming cooking etc,” wrote RGV on his micro-blogging page.

Son of Nagarjuna Akkineni and Amala Akkineni, Akhil’s debut film is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Many of the tinsel town’s big wigs are curiously waiting to watch Already, his first look still garnered all attention. Directed by VV Vinayak, the movie has been christened after Akhil’s name.

But the fans of Mega, Power, Rebel stars seem to be unfazed much with RGV’s latest tweet as it’s Varma’s usual style of heaping praises. Either praise or criticism, RGV overdoes it and it’s his natural style. Even he did similar for Temper, but all knows the result. Looks like, people have made up their minds to not to take Varma seriously.

‘My younger brother Power Star Pawan Kalyan would have become a director, if our vadina Surekha gaaru hadn’t forced Annayya Chiranjeevi to make him a hero,’ affirmed Nagababu at Chiranjeevi’s 60th birthday celebrations. In fact, the multi-talented Pawan Kalyan has special interest in direction. He can sing, write dialogues as well as screenplay and also choreograph fights. Unfortunately, Pawan Kalyan’s one and only directorial venture Johnny turned out as disaster owing to lethargic narration. Since then, Pawan Kalyan didn’t dare wielding megaphone; however his concern over direction is everlasting.

At one stage, Pawan Kalyan thought of directing his current project Sardaar Gabbar Singh. But, he dropped the idea due to some reasons. Later, he roped in Bobby of Power fame to wield the megaphone. Apart from acting, Pawan Kalyan has offered story as well as screenplay for Sardaar. Bobby who himself is a writer didn’t oppose Pawan Kalyan when the actor proposed him to just direct the film. In fact, he is not willing to miss the lifetime opportunity of directing Pawan Kalyan.

This is not just in the case of Bobby; many other directors in the industry are willing to associate with Pawan Kalyan even though the actor won’t give them full authorities.

Not just in films, but in real life also director Anurag Kashyap resorts to some unbelievable stuff. Recently when this Bombay Velvet flopped, he stated that people should learn to see different films with different eye and blasted media for giving a wrong perspective of his film to audiences. Here comes his another act.

A day earlier, he has posted a picture where he got a bandage taped to his left eye. ‘Now they put a plaster, this is what happens when you get into a brawl with a MMA fighter’, he messaged, along with that picture. Just upon this tweet and post, Bollywood media aired stories that Anurag is hit by a boxer and he got his left eye damaged. Sympathies started flowing in for the director. Fooling everyone who made a big story on this, Anurag later tweeted that he has just posted a picture of taking a prosthetic test of a makeup for his next flick, but nothing real.

‘My intention is to show how media cooks up stories without even bother to do a inquiry about it. None called me back before running the story I got hit by a boxer’, he says. But fooling media might cost you huge in the coming days Anurag!!

When Maruthi’s first film Ee Rojullo was released, critics and film lovers  vehemently outraged against the dialogues which were totally filled with double entendres. Undeterred by the heavy criticism, Maruthi went on to make another successful youth film, Bus Stop,  again laced with double meaning dialogues in much higher doses. The film was rated A by the censor board.

After Bus Stop, Maruthi was branded as a ‘boothu director’ and the situation got worse after he produced numerous youth flicks, all pumped with sleazy scenes and double meaning dialogues and of course, A certificates. Maruthi then took some time off from direction, and then came up a clean, romantic entertainer Kotha Janta, which was rated U/A by the censor board.

Maruthi finally succeeded in wiping off the ‘boothu director’ tag and he has now come up with yet another clean, romantic film, the soon to be released Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. The film is given a clean U certificate by the censor board members and it shows Maruthi’s U-turn from A to U certificate and his journey from obscenity to sanity. While Maruthi’s efforts are highly appreciable, let’s wish that this successful filmmaker continues to churn out meaningful entertainers.

After lot of hype around the film’s title, Ram Charan’s title is finally confirmed as “Bruce Lee” if we have to believe these reports and a picture shot at Sreenu Vytla’s office. Standees of the Charan-Vytla movie got readied with the name “Bruce Lee” as title, with “the Fighter” as a tag line.

Earlier some titles liker Merupu and Vijetha are considered but with Charan not confirming the title on the teaser that was released a week back, it’s official that they want to change it. This picture however blows minds, as Charan and Vytla wanted to stick to their original idea of the title, rather giving some mass and dynamic colouring to it.

Directed by Sreenu Vytla, the film is getting readied for an October (Dasara) release, and has Rakul Preet Singh as heroine. Though the release date is not confirmed, post production works are already getting completed at fast pace. We have to see when the film will get its title officially announced.

All of a sudden, the way this debuting youngster is seen by the media and general movie lovers has changed. Akhil Akkineni, the new and happening kid on the block, is currently a trend. He’s the new craze. With directors like Ram Gopal Varma, giving him an explosive colouring after looking at some visuals of him from the movie, there is no way the hysteria around him could be stopped.

Except Ram Charan, no other debuting star kids like Mahesh (Rajakumarudu), Bunny (Gangotri) and even Balayya, Nagarjuna sometime back have got that explosive mass image with their first flick. They have all proved their cuteness and emotions and then ran after mass stuff. But it seems Akhil wants to start the game at 100 kmph, but not 0 kmph.

Looking at the way he has stunned everyone with the first look posters of his debuting flick “Akhil”, we could come to this conclusion. Adding to that, the fantasy element in the posters as he holds a fireball is making him a hero of different kind with first film itself.

But due to this heavy expectations baggage around, there is no way he could escape criticism at the same time. We have to wait for his debut film to release, to get a perfect picture of Sisindri’s new image.
