Not many of newcomers would get chance to share screen space with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. New kid on the block Kabir Singh is one of those rare actors who grabbed the chance. Kabir will be playing baddie in Pawan’s most-anticipated Sardaar Gabbar Singh, franchise of blockbuster Gabbar Singh.

Kabir Singh joined the shoot of the film and he had shot with Sharad bhai who plays the other villain. Kabir essays the role of Sharad’s protege in the film and he handles most of Sharad’s work. Apparently, Kabir has shot only with Sharad in the Sardaar and waiting to join with Pawan Kalyan.

Kabir Singh made his debut with Gopichand-starrer Jil and this is his claim to fame and landed him in plum offers. Kabir will also be seen in an important role in Balakrishna’s 99th film Dictator and an untitled Sunil film. This is not all. Kabir will also play antagonist in the Telugu remake of Sundarapandian with Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead.

“Though I’ve felt nervous in doing that lip kiss scene, it’s not forced or vulgar. It had deep aesthetic sense”, says heroine Rakul Preet Singh, who feels that her kissing of Ravi Teja in Kick 2 is quite a crucial scene for the movie.

Actresses kissing their co-stars on big screen is not a rare phenomenon. But top grade sirens doing that is something we rarely see. Except Samantha, no other starlet has done that twice and with much reality. Of course there are hotties like Trisha who have took part in longest lip lockings on the screen.

Her kiss from Teenmar with Pawan is the much talked about. Coming to Rakul Preet, we have her planting a deep peck on Raviteja’s lips, but it’s not any deep French kiss kinds, which Rakul has done earlier in her Hindi debut “Yaariyaan”. Anyway, all this is just acting only know.

Going by the trailer, we’ve to say that it’s as scrappy as it is, but then, these promotions are making their way for everything.

August 28th marks the “50th Day” of magnum opus that was released on July 10th. But this film’s 50th day is not keeping fans happy. Especially when Prabhas fans are claiming this film as their star’s own movie, the whole India praised Rajamouli for the film’s credit. If not that, comments of Rajamouli has hurt them further.

Very openly, Rajamouli criticised that Baahubali will not block any theatres for 50th day to make some records. Because there are small Telugu movies like Best Actors, Blade Batch, Dolar ki Maro Vaipu, Malini & Co, Taruvatha Katha, Vikramarkudi Love Story and others releasing.

Somehow Baahubali and other big-star films that are not running to packed crowds need to way for these films on Friday. That’s why Baahuabli got emptied from many screens. Actually fans want the makers to run for day, celebrate 50th day and leave theatres tomorrow. As Rajamouli haven’t given scope for any such records, they are reportedly fuming at the director.

Meanwhile, it’s an achievement that a 500 crore club Telugu film is making waves across the nation at some places even on its 50th day of run. Soon the film’s international version will be released.

Cricket God and India’s Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is likely to watch Mahesh Babu’s latest blockbuster Srimanthudu. The big news is corroborated by the producers of Srimanthudu who said they’re arranging special screening for Sachin. However, the exact date and time haven’t been finalised yet. Keeping Sachin’s tight schedule in mind, the makers have made all necessary arrangements for the screening. Only Sachin’s final nod on the time is awaited. Rest all is said to be done.

Sachin Tendulkar would be watching the film sometime this week. He was bowled by the concept of a millionaire youth leaving his riches aside and adopting a village and setting up basic amenities, said a source in the know. Sachin was apparently quite excited and impressed as soon as he got to know about film’s premise. Since Sachin himself adopted Puttamraju Kandrika village ( in Gudur Mandal, Nellore of Andhra Pradesh ), he seems to have connected to Srimanthudu immediately and expressed his wish to watch the film.

Featuring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, Srimanthudu has set cash registers ringing at the Box Office. According to trade analysts, the film said to have collected over Rs 100 Crore share world-wide so far. Needless to say that producers Naveen, Ravi and CV Mohan are laughing all the way to the banks.

Remember Vamsy’s classic Ladies Tailor? The film had Rajendra Prasad playing title role. Exactly after 30 years, director Vamsy is now planning to make a sequel for it. Although the idea to make sequel has been there in Vamsy’s mind for longtime, he now came forward to direct a sequel to this iconic comedy and what’s more? He has roped in Raj Tarun who shot to fame with Uyyala Jampala. Going by reports, Vamsy is planning to name the film as “Fashion Designer” with caption “S/o Ladies Tailor”.

Released in 1985, Ladies Tailor was a huge commercial success and became a comedy cult. Then the film set several new precedents in terms of exposing, portrayal of women. Rajendra Prasad was seen essaying the role of superstitious ladies tailor in search of a bride who has a mole on her thigh as an astrologist said him that if he marries such girl, he would become rich. Despite it was made 30 years ago, the film was fresh and alive in memory of audiences.

As per the reports, the sequel is based on the life of Rajendra Prasad’s son in the film. Raj Tarun will be playing the role and he will be seen as a fashion designer to suit the modern days. Will Rajendra Prasad be part of the sequel? Yes, says Vmasy. Rajendra Prasad will be part of the film but the length of his role or screen time is not yet revealed.

Vamsy has been going through rough phase. He is struggling to make a comeback. His previous film Anumanaspadam fail to bring back him glory. His another film Tanu Monne Vellipoyindi hasn’t seen the light of the day yet. Let’s wait and see whether Vamsy would make a grand comeback with Ladies Tailor sequel or not.

For the last couple of weeks, there has been a huge buzz surrounding Superstar Mahesh Babu adopting two villages, his native Burripalem and one in Telangana. Mahesh’s goodwill among his fans, common people and even politicians rose to an all-time high. Not many know know that yet another Tollywood star, Manchu Vishnu, adopted as many as 10 villages in Chittoor.

Vishnu adopted 10 villages in Chandragiri mandal in Chittoor. Vishnu is concentrating on providing basic amenities like education, water, toilets for girls in these villages and he even went along with his university professors and visited Shirpur in Maharashtra to examine how his friend’s family turned it into a model village. The Manchu star has already built a toilet and plans to build more.

Vishnu’s next move is to discuss his development plans with the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. Not stopping with this, Vishnu also formed a ‘Green Army’ team comprising of students from his education institutions, who will visit all the nearby villages and create awareness about sanitation.

Such inspiring work by the Manchu hero is highly appreciated and let’s wish it inspires more stars to follow suit.

Mega heroes Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are expected to shake their legs for a special song in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Sai Dharam Tej is also keen to take part in anyway in the film. He has no issues even essaying a junior artist role, as announced by the actor himself at Subramanyam For Sale audio launch. Who will miss the opportunity to play a part in such milestone film?

Mega cameos worked in both ways for Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan played a brief cameo in Chiru’s super hit Shankar Dada MBBS, where he was seen pouring beer into Srikanth’s mouse. If you blink eyes, you will miss to glimpse Pawan Kalyan in the song ‘Naa Pere Kanchanamala’. In fact, mega fans repeatedly watched the film to see Pawan Kalyan in that Chiru’s film. We know how big hit the Jayanth C Paranjee directorial was.

Later, Pawan Kalyan was seen again in a special role in Chiru’s Shankar Dada Zindabad. In the film, Pawan comes in rescue of Chiru when goons manhandle the megastar who keeps ‘Dada Giri’ aside to follow ‘Gandhi Giri’. Pawan even has some dialogues in the scene after taking on the goons. Allu Arjun and other ‘Chiru fan heroes’ were also seen in special song in the film. However, this time the mega sentiment worked other way as the Prabhu Deva directorial turned out as a flop.

Now, in which way will the mega cameo sentiment work for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film that will start rolling sometime this year?

Yes, you read it right. Actor Vishnu Machu is likely to play Lord Hanuman in an upcoming mythological film based on Hanuman. What’s more? The film will be made in three languages simultaneously – English, Telugu and Tamil. Vishnu is contemplating to rope in a Hollywood director and Hollywood production house to collaborate with him for the film. It’s buzzed that the movie would be giving an international treatment to Indian mythology. Since Hanuman has pivotal role in epic Ramayana and is considered as super hero, many could relate to him on screen, especially children.

The proposed film is said to be based on complete life story of Lord Hanuman right from his birth to going into Himalayas for meditation. Hanuman is Chiranjeevi and he is eternal forever. Apparently, Vishnu is an ardent aficionado of Hanuman and this prompted him to take up the project. The Dhee star is planning to use state of the art VFX technology and the movie is likely to be a visual treat.

Reports have it that Vishnu is in deliberations with a Hollywood filmmaker and likely to bring him on board soon. For Telugu and Tamil versions, he will be roping in a consultant director. It’s heard that this is Vishnu’s dream project and he is leaving no stone unturned. He is mulling to rope in costume designers, make-up artists from Planet of Apes to give it a global touch. The film will go onto floors after he wraps up his present commitment Kannappa. If all goes well, the shoot of Hanuman will be commenced in the end of 2016.

In a stunning revelation, ace director Rajamouli shared his opinion outright. “Baahubali will run in theatres that yields share. If not, the film will be pulled out, making way for others”, the Baahubali director says, giving a straight statement, “We will NOT block theatres for false records”.

As many fans are asking him to continue the film in theatres for the sake of records for hero Prabhas, on behalf of producer Rajamouli has made it very clear. “There is no question of 50 days, 100 days and 175 days now. Gone are those days.

With films releasing in 1000s of theatres, the run is over by 3-4 weeks”, he says, irking all those observers who claim films being run for huge number of days are real hits, while other are just fluke. “Sometimes fans run theatres, while exhibitors do it sometimes. When audiences gave huge victory, what’s the need for running in theatres from long time?” he questions.

His revelations might have jolted many, but from long time many critics are opining that hanging around No. of theatres is something that is obstructing the arrival of other new films. Probably with Rajamouli’s revelation, the truth has come out, and hope many producers and distributors don’t run films for long time in theatres for the sake of records.
