If grapevine is to be believed, actor Jr NTR and producer Dil Raju have entered into an agreement. As part of the deal, Tarak has committed to do a film with producer Dil Raju and hence Raju would be backing Kalyan Ram’s Kick 2 which has Ravi Teja, Rakul Preet in lead. Only after agreement with Tarak, Raju said to have bought the theatrical rights of Kick 2 for Nizam.

Since Kick 2 has been lying in cans for a while and constantly the film is getting delayed, NTR stepped in to save Kalyan Ram. NTR is releasing the film on his own by pumping in money. With this, Kick 2 is all set for release on Aug 21. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is a sequel to blockbuster Kick.

The collaboration of NTR and Dil Raju has brought cheer to fans. Last time, the duo disappointed with Ramayya Vastavayya and hence they said to have decided to compensate fans with their new venture. However, it would take sometime as NTR is currently working for Sukumar-BVSN Prasad’s venture Nannaku Prematho which is slated for Sankranthi release. So, one has to wait till 2016 for Tarak-Dil Raju’s project to be materialized.

Chiranjeevi’s nephew, actor Sai Dharam Tej is all set to gift his uncle, Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Sai has grooved for Chiru’s song in his forthcoming film ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ where the audio will be released on Chiranjeevi’s birthday – August 22.

The original song, which was a classic, is remixed where Sai is paying rich tribute to Mega Star. Mickey J Meyer has rendered the tunes for the film directed by Harish Shankar of Gabbar Singh fame. Regina is paired up with Sai for the second time as their first collaboration ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ proved as a winner.

“A popular song of Chiru is being remixed and the news has been kept under the wraps as a surprise to all Mega fans,” said a source in the know adding that Chiranjeevi is aware of the development.

However, this is not first-time Chiru’s song is being remixed. In the past, son and actor Ram Charan remixed Chiru’s popular songs like Bangaru Kodipetta (Magadheera), Vaana Vaana (Rachcha). Joining the bandwagon is nephew Sai Dharam Tej. Since both Magadheera, Rachcha were winners at Box Office, makers of Subramanyam for Sale too banking on the sentiment.

Well known among the Telugu music lovers for his soulful numbers like Kanulanu Thaake O Kala from Manam and Swamy Ra Ra Hari from Swamy Ra Ra, Arijit Singh is the latest celebrity in the Mumbai’s notorious gangster Ravi Pujari’s hit-list. According to the latest reports, Ravi Pujari repeatedly called Arijit and demanded Rs. 5 crore.

Apparently, Arijit told Pujari that he does not have that much money. With an unexpected twist, the gangster told Arijit that he likes his voice and asked him to perform free of cost at a few shows which will be organised by his men. Following this call, Arijit approached the Oshiwara police but refused to lodge a complaint, leading to the police file a diary entry of the matter.

Speaking about his ordeal, Arijit said that he travels extensively in the US and other countries and performs at various musical shows. One of his shows’ promoters bargained for lesser price and when Arijit decided not to accept his shows, the promoter approached Ravi Pujari instead.

“I don’t mind doing a complimentary show but I don’t like being manipulated,” says Arijit who went on to state that he didn’t receive a direct threat from Ravi Pujari. The singer further said that all this is a part and parcel of his job and  refused to file an FIR and even refused police protection.
