After donning several emotionally heart wrenching roles like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu etc, Tollywood’s Cupid Nagarjuna also earned the tag of Manmadhudu with his handsome looks and romantic roles. Now, Nagarjuna wants to play the demon lord Ravanasura role.

Yesterday, Nagarjuna and Amala attended the Rise of Kali book launch and Nag made several interesting comments about Ravanasura. The ‘King’ Nag said that just like every man has the good and the bad side to his personality, even Ravanasura has two shades in him and that there is also a hero inside the lord of demon.

Nagarjuna then spoke about Baahubali and said that he wants to play Ravanasura kind of characters in films like Baahubali with mythological and folklorist stories. Nag then surprised the guests when he said that he envies the actors who got a chance to act in Baahubali and that he is upset for not getting an opportunity to act in Baahubali.

Actor Mahesh Babu is riding high with the stupendous success of Srimanthudu. Celebrating the film’s success, the makers have decided to organise a grand success function in AP’s capital district Guntur. Given that Mahesh has humongous fan base in Guntur and it also happens to be director Koratala Siva’s native place, makers said to have chosen Guntur as the ideal place. Incidentally, Mahesh’s brother-in-law and entrepreneur Galla Jaydev is the sitting MP of Guntur.

After turning producer with Akhil Akkineni’s debut film, looks like there’s no stopping for young star Nithiin. The handsome actor has just bagged the Telugu rights of 24, the Suriya and Samantha starrer sci-fi thriller. Nithiin himself has announced about this expensive deal.

For this deal, Nithiin’s production house Sreshth Movies has teamed up with the leading Nizam distributors Global Cinemas. 24 is still under production and it is being directed by Vikram Kumar, who resurrected Nithiin’s fading career with the classic romantic superhit, Ishq.

Vikram is also popular for his emotional take of three generations of the Akkineni family, Manam. 24 has music composed by none other than AR Rahman and several highly reputed technicians are working for this prestigious film.
