Censor Board cuts down Puri’s bhoothulu

It is known to our readers that Ravi Teja starrer Devudu Chesina Manushulu had completed its censor formalities last week and the movie was awarded with U/A certificate. With this the movie is all set to release on August 15th. Here is the complete details of the cuts suggested by the board
1. Deleted the thigh exposure of heroine in the introduction shot
2. Deleted dialogues like Kosi, bum bum, neeyebba, neeyemma, dongamunda, sankanaki, pakkane padukobetti etc
3. Displayed the warnings during the duration of smoking

CM’s victory saddens Cabinet

Never in the history of world politics this would have happened. If a leader leads his team to victory in any field then it will be celebrated by all the members of the team, irrespective of individual failures. However present day politics of Andhra Pradesh is presenting new scenario where even if the leader scores a victory, it won’t be celebrated by the team in which individuals who are born detractors of the leader. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy who was till recently accused of being a puppet at the hands of Center scored his first victory in his bid to save the state from acute power crisis. He took a hard stand, fought with Union Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy , hailing from the same state and when he washed off his hands, made a strong representation with PM Manmohan Singh, stopping undue diversion of state’s natural gas resources to Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri thermal project.
Entire media hailed the CM for the first time, however his cabinet criticized him going hammer and tongs for hatching a plot and defaming Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy. They even went to the extent of giving the whole issue T-Color saying that CM is anti telangana and so insulted the minister coming from Telangana region. Common people however were shocked at the opportunistic behavior of these politicians who are selling the stakes of the State for their petty political gains. One senior leader of Congress on anonymity said CM Kiran when everyone lost hopes on him and thought of contemplating a change, turned a match winner and scored a last ball six from the jaws of victory but none are celebrating his victory. He said CM’s victory came too late for him.

‘The Leader’ is the caption for VV Vinayak’s latest movie Naayak with Ram Charan as hero. The response for the title has been great and the caption of The Leader will justify the title which sounds more like a Hindi film title.

The movie is touted to be a mass masala movie in which Ram Charan plays dual roles. The movie unit had recently completed filming an action sequence in Kolkata and the next schedule of the movie will take place in Greece and Iceland in which few songs of the movie will be shot.
Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads and Thaman composing the music for this movie. The makers are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi next year.

She had won Filmfare and Nandi Award for Ashta Chemma and was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress award for my Tamil film Subramaniapuram — all this in a span of two to three years. But mostly she was seen in the ‘Girl next door’ type characters.

When asked if she was against doing glamorous steamy scenes – I don’t think the script will ever demand a steamy or a bold scene from me, but it’s the characterization that drives the film. Nobody has ever approached me with such a character so far. Perhaps you can blame my ‘typecast’ image for that (laughs).

Governor’s greed for power !

AP Governor ESL.Narasimhan’s ways many times came in for severe criticism. While his predecessors used to stay aloof away from on going politics in the state, Narasimhan started taking undue interest and showed his ever ready willingness to take on the mantle. When he took charge the situation in the state was such that any moment many exposed president’s rule. However Cong did not impose and during Rosaiah regime Governor had free hand in the functioning of the Govt. Even when Kiran took over charge for some time he had a free hand and now that Kiran trying to impose his stamp on the functioning of Govt, all those who had free hand till now started feeling the heat.
When CM Kiran scored first victory stopping supply of Gas to Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri’s plant many congress ministers accused CM of playing politics and bringing down the image of petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy. Even Governor who went to Delhi to submit some report instead of hailing the efforts of CM Kiran ,criticised all the controversy over Gas saying when there were no natural gas resources in AP, how can the state CM and media make such a hue and cry over the whole non issue. This is not the first time Governor has shown his penchant for controversial statements. Even earlier also instead of keeping quite he issued some statements on T-issue and many other burning problems.
This shows who are the real enemies of CM Kiran. It has to be seen how Kiran tackles with non cooperative ministers, colleagues and even first person of Andhra Pradesh.

Brainchild of CM baffles all

CM Kiran is waging a valiant battle single handedly with his opponents inside and outside the party. He is trying to bring his stamp on Cong rule and introduced some schemes for the benefit of the poor. Most popular among them is Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu, a scheme which trains poor and provides them corporate jobs. In his recent visit to Khammam, as a part of his tour ‘Indiramma Bata’ to get first hand information of how the Govt programs and schemes are getting implemented, Govt officials made one girl who got employment under the scheme to speak with the CM.
An excited CM interacted with the girl and asked what job she got after undergoing training in Govt scheme. When the girl replied she got job in a diamond company, Kiran was stunned and remarked ‘Oh My God’ and trying to find out more he asked where she was working and for how much salary. All his happiness and excitement evaporated the moment girl replied she was working for 5k in Hyderabad. All the officials and ministers present at the stage were shocked that Kiran’s brainchild trained poor to relocate from Khammam to Hyd for mere 5k pay leaving all their belongings.
Now one should wait and see what Kiran will do to iron out the flaws in his brainchild. Many were seen murmuring that the officials need training on how to implement schemes for the benefit of the poor.

Strange are the ways followed by TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu. Currently Babu who is busy chalking out multi pronged strategies to win power in next general elections is coming out new creative and innovatively brilliant ideas. His one such scheme is giving 100 tickets to BC candidates. Entire BC community hailed his decision and buoyed by their response he went a step ahead saying he will send letter to Govt regarding BC reservations. This shows Babu’s strategies and telangana activists already started demanding same speed on telangana issue.

Babu is unfazed and started giving statements. He went hammer and tongs on Govt criticizing its decisions on fees reimbursement, and claimed that it was his pet project which YSR copied but Congress failed to implement it in a perfect manner. He said if voted to power he will implement in a better manner. Furious YSR party leaders gave a open retort to Babu saying that all the schemes are YSR’s schemes and even took Cong by scurf saying if Cong claims all YSR policies are Cong policies why were they not implemented across the country.
Political analysts are of opinion that since Babu and YSR share close relationship, Babu might have told his schemes to YSR. TDP cadres who were facing criticism for Babu’s claims were heard saying Babu has guts to say what ever he wants to say whether he is right or wrong and the same strategy is somehow keeping TDP alive and going.

Loksatta Leader Jayaprakash Narayan seems to be quickly learning the art of true politician after rubbing his shoulders with politicians of prominent political parties in the state. He was inews for all wrong reasons when telangana activists slapped him in front of assembly and later when the same people ghearoed him to support their cause. However what came as shock was with in minutes he started praising late CM YS.Rajasekhara Reddy, hailing him as India’s only CM with great vision. He lavished praises on him saying he came out with many brilliant ideas which not even world’s renowned politicians would have got in their life time. He even predicted that YSR congress will win next elections hands down and to the shock of TRS revealed that even in telangana, YSRCP will put a splendid performance. JP should be careful before making this statement and should remember T-attacks on him.
Many listening to his statements feel that he might have had an understanding with YSR some time back and is now reciprocating showering his love towards him. Dome feel JP may turn a jumping jack joining YSR CP any moment.

Jagan becoming Ghajini ?

One is aware that Mohd Ghajini needed 16 attempts before plundering India’s wealth. While some cite his example to show his unflinched will to achieve his mission even after successive failures, others show it his strength of weakness. Even though Supreme Court of India rejected his bail application twice or thrice, Jagan is waiting for his next opportunity to come with another bail application. His opponents are making fun of him taunting that he is running away from proving his innocence and his becoming genex Ghajini with his bail applications. His supporters even God can not prove his innocence when courts are managed by opponents and say their leader will come out one day and teach them a fitting lesson.

Now recent developments in the state capital are making every one wonder what’s happening to the representatives of the State capital.
Sometime back internationally acclaimed writer Taslima Nasreen was attacked in the heart of the city by MLAs and MPs of a political party. Later some MLAs attacked doctors in Govt hospitals and later the representatives showed their power even on Revenue and Muncipal officials. All this is developing fear in the hearts of citizens and people living in hyderabad. As if this was not enough Minister Danam Nagender showed his power and his locking of ISKON funded Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple in the city sent shivers in the spines of even devotees. KCR behind mess up in KIran Govt?

When TRS chief sometime back announced that he will be getting signals on daily basis from Central Govt on formation of separate telangana, many made fun of him and some media even wrote mocking articles. This infuriated KCR who went hammer and tongs on media calling them names and asking if he don’t get signals whether media fools and loafers would get?.
However after watching recent developments in the State for the past one month or so on various issues, many feel that KCR would have definitely got some signals and that is the reason why he is keeping quiet. There was utter disarray in the state Govt led by Kiran Kumar much to the dismay of common people that many feel some one is behind all this mess. Some doubt KCR is behind all these developments and Congress is using him as a pawn to keep the party divided as its interests are best served in it.
The way ministers are fighting against each other and issuing statements in variance with the state Govt policies, and many issues including gas diversion given telangana color points finger only to one direction. It is a known fact that T MLAs and MPs don’r dare to open and utter a single word and now that they are giving vitriolic statements, one can know that Cong high command is behind all developments and now with Governor going to Delhi and giving controversial statements on Gas allocation along with submission of T-report to home ministry shows that KCR is behind the mess in AP.

Mass Raja Ravi Teja became the darling of masses with his energetic performances fully loaded with spontaneous mass dialogues, unique mannerisms and breathtaking dances. This got him immense popularity and masses crowned him as Mass Maharaja. However movie lovers and film critics wonder whether Mass Raja is losing his magic. They cite the examples of Veera,Nippu, Daruvu along with special roles in Dongala Mutha and KSD Appalaraju. Even his die hard fans can’t deny that after Mirapakaya he did not have decent hit. His fans wonder what happened to their hero who once won bitter battles with Natasimha Balakrishna.
However most recently many noticed fear in Mass Raja clearly cast on his face. He postponed his recent films Nippu, Daruvu many times and even Devudu Chesina Manushulu which is never heard of in the industry. Movie lovers feel that his last three films bombed at the box office due to his monotonous and routine mannerisms. Even many feel age is catching him up which is visible with the wrinkles on his face. This is also turning out to be his minus as many hot heroines are shying away from singing films with him though he has loads of energy.
Unless until he finds out new ways and re package himself his mass magic will fast wane out. Raviteja hopes that Puri Jagannath’s directed Devudu Chesina Manushulu will recreate the magic of ‘Idiot’ bringing back golden days to him.

How Nandamuri-Akkineni rivalry started ?

Rivalry between Nandamuri and Akkineni family is not new and it has long standing history. It all started after the release of ‘Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ in which NTR played the role of Krishna which is child’s play for him, while ANR played the role of Arjuna. The film became a super hit with superb songs, poems and terrific action from the icons of tollywood. However movie lovers started comparing action of the two stars and after dissecting their performances felt that ANR won’t even come to the stature of NTR’s feet though he shakes his body, while NTR just sends many messages just by moment of his eyes. Many movie critics also felt the same. This came as a shock for ANR who is the senior most hero than NTR.
This hurt many ANR fans and even ANR himself who went on public saying he won’t be doing any films in future with NTR. However they buried their hatchet and later ANR and NTR starred in many more superhit films, with NTR himself going to him and requesting that he suits for the role of Chanakya, when he presented ‘Chanakya Chandragupta’. Later they passed the mantle to Nagarjuna and Balakrishna. However both these stars from the beginning avoid clash of their films in any manner. While Natasimha Balakrina became the hero of masses with his powerful dialogues, Manmadhuru Nagarjuna became lover boy in the heart of females with his romantic films.
However all this may change soon with the entry of Akkineni Akhil and Nandamuri Mokshagna. Though families deny their entry, they are planning for a perfect launch for young faces of iconic families. While Akhil is seen in many functions and CCL as his first love is CCL, Mokshagna is relatively new and no one knows much about him. Akhil is already tollywood’s ‘Sisindri’. It has to be seen how this genex battle unfolds.

Cats are better than T-Cong MPs-Toothless Tigers ?

When one watches the noises and daring statements of T-congress MPs and MLAs in front of media, one gets the impression that all hell is going to break loose and tsunami is going to happen any moment with deadly force. Their lions Keshav Rao, Madhu Yashki, Ponnam Prabhakar, Gutta Sukhender and others show their full strength in full public gaze.

However people have seen their antics in front of channels and media for many times and they seem to forget that they can not fool people according to their whims and fancies. They make huge noises but in the closed door discussions with their high command leaders, they piss in their pants searching for words. Telangana people suspect that they are offered monetary benefits or threatened with cases. Everyone is aware that cases are hanging like damsel swords round the necks of Madhu Yashki, Keshav Rao and many others. The moment high command threatens they turn worse than cats. People are now seen commenting that these T-Cong MPs are toothless tigers who piss in their pants the moment they see Sonia. Many say they are worse than cats.
One knows what happened during the current session of Parliament. Sonia gave a strong warning in full media gaze but these MPs twist facts and say seemandhra MPs are planting wrong stories. Even they know that they failed miserably and people don’t believe them. However they try to take people for a ride showing seemandhra people as ghosts. If they think that they can save their power by portraying fellow people as traitors and robbers for some time these tricks may work out but after some time people see through their sinister designs and teach a fitting lesson.

Normally any Chief Minister will have a cabinet of ministers with whom he will be ruling the state collectively for the benefit and development of people who elected them. However the Congress Govt in AP is completely different. Post YSR, with congress high command controlling from Delhi, appointing CM on its own, the cabinet ministers stopped paying respect to Chief Ministers. They started following their own agenda as CM failed win their faith and command respect. They isolated current CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and started creating troubles issuing statements in diversion with govt policies bringing headache to CM and stalling the functioning of the Govt machinery.
Ministers complain against each other, work against each other, stopped believing each other and are interested in just enjoying the benefits of power for their personal ends without working for the development of people who elected them. They try to take law in their own hands creating inconvenience to the people. This is for the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh that people are witnessing Chief Minister and Cabinet of Minsiters in complete disarray.
What all these power hungry politicians fail to realise is people are noticing all their cunning acts and though they are helpless, they are waiting for the right moment go give a sound slap and teach them a befitting lesson. They are alreay seen questioning why parties and ministers not learning lessons from the results of recently held by polls.
One can not make noises in front of deaf and blind politicians. They are blinded by money and deafened by greed for power.

Sai’, socio fantasy flick ‘Damarukam’ and another film under Dasarath’s direction. Same is the case with Sampath Nandi, director of ‘Racha’. His upcoming project with Power Star Pawan Kalyan will be starting only after another two to three sittings. Sources reveal that the script for the film is yet to be finalised. Film Nagar sources inform that official announcements on both these projects are expected soon in this month itself. However this long wait is a surprise not only for movie lovers but also for these talented directors.
