Can Vijayamma become Maya, Mamata or Jaya?

When Jagan floated YSR Party, his rivals including himself is fully aware that he is the fulcrum point for the success of the party and with out him the party can not stand on its own. Realising this his opponents targetted him day in and day out with one or the other allegations. Even Jagan delayed his arrest by CBI till the last moment. When many thought YSR Party would be rudderless and will be sailing in a directionless manner Vijayamma, widow of YSR enterted the arena and galvanised the crowd. Now many questions arise in the minds of political analysts and the most important thing is can Vijayamma become all powerful like former UP CM Mayawathi, Bengal CM Mamatha Bannerjee or Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha.
While some feel that with no one unable to predict when Jagan will be out of Jail, Vijayamma has fair chance to become that powerful if she in consultation with Jagan play her cards to perfection. She is already taking on other parties and Govt with her deekshas on various issues. Some others wonder whether this itself is enough. If one analyses Mayawathi’s BSP, Mamatha’s TMC and Jayalalitha’s AIADMK, all those parities have conveniently chalked out their parties policies and gave direction in such a way that they would support any party whether it is NDA led by BJP or UPA led by Congress as long as it serves the people of their respective states. Even their supporters including minorities don’t find fault with their change of stances frequently. However Jagan revealing his YSR CP strategy that he would align only with Congress and not with BJP at center , weakened his party’s strength and made him face barrel of allegations from opponents about his collusion with Congress. Had he chalked his strategies and given directions and prepared people before hand in the lines of Maya, Mamata or Jaya, then Viaya could have become another powerful leader.

Lame excuses for Olympic failures

Indian contingent’s super failure saga continued at greatest sporting arena in the world, The Olympics, which are underway in London. While sports lovers from India were witness to many spellbounding awesome performances from sports persons representing various countries, they are totally disappointed at the performances by Indian sports persons. Barring a few like Saina Nehwal, Gagan Narang, Vijeyendra Singh, Vijay Kumar andry Kom who bucked the trend and system failures others failed miserably shocking sports lovers. Medal hopes like Wolrd no 1 in archery Deepika Kumari, world champions Ronjon Sodhi and others, even medal hopes Sania Mirza, Jwala Gutta and Diju all did not live up to their expectations. True, world champions and gold medalists from last olympics from other countries also failed but not with out a strong fight. But if one takes Deepika Kumari world no 1 in archery, she failed to shoot even 9 in first round while olympic stage fired her unknown opponent to continuously score 10 points. Similar is the case of Boxer Vijayendra Singh who lost his bout in QF when he defeated the same opponent earlier couple of months back blanking him cmpletely. Jwala fpr example prior to the start of the olympics was seen busy attending shop openings, fashion shows and film audio releases rather than practicing unlike Saina Nehwal. Hockey team’s miserable performance is the highlight in India’s failures.
Now all start blaming Cricket for their failures, lack of encouragement from authorities, lack of facilities and what not. They even come up with trivial excuses. But one should know no person likes to see and encourage a sport where sports persons loses continuously disappointing sports lovers. Previously people used to see Hockey as they won 8 gold medals at Olympics, many world cups etc. The moment hockey team lost its sheen and started losing continuously they stopped watching it. They switched over to cricket as cricketers victories coincided with hockey team’s failures. Coming to other excuses, one should not blame the system as nothing can stop talent from winning if the person has fire and burning desire to succeed. Many african countries and small nations won gold at olympics due to their desire to succeed even though they struggled in utter poverty. Now one should understand what hard work Gold medalist Abhinav Bindra might have put.

Mahesh insults Venkatesh ?

Prince Mahesh Babu achieved stardom at a very young age and due credit should be given to him for the phenomenal achievement. He is now the hottest star not only in tollywood but also across India. He found his way in the top ten most desirable men in India in a survey. Many corporates sign him to endorse their brands. This itself is more than enough to gauge his stardom. However many feel that he should give due respect to seniors. It is known that he is teaming with Victory Venkatesh in first ever multi starrer ‘ Seetamma Vakilto Sirimalle Chettu’ in tollywood for a decade or so. The film is directed by Srikanth Addala of Kotha Bangaru Lokam fame and is produced by Dil Raju. The film finds Prince romancing Samantha while Venkatesh paring with Anjali.
The film makers differentiated between Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh while promoting the film. They released two trailers till now and both the trailers were released on happy occasions featuring Ghattamaneni’s family. The first trailer was released on Super Star Krishna’s birthday while the second released on Mahesh’s birthday. This itself shows the discrimination by the film makers on Victory Venkatesh. Venky fans feel hurt clearly and they are silently bearing the burnt. Neutral movie lovers feel that Mahesh could have taken the initiative and got the trailer released on Venky’s moment of truth which would have generated lot of good will between fans of both the stars.

When ‘Julaayi’ meets ‘Mister 7’

Stylish Star Allu Arjun turned ‘Julaayi’ today and with his scintillating and exihilerating performance he scored ‘Seven’ in his efforts to meet ‘Mister 7’. People may wonder and question how come he score ‘Seven’, when even in cricketing terminology he could score either a boundary getting 4 runs or smash the ball over the ropes scoring a sixer getting 6 runs. If we go into the details some time back Jr SVR made his debut turning ‘Mister 7’. The film has bank robbery scene in which villian appoints 4 guys who were unknown to each other and starts eliminating them as soon as he gets to the treasure. ‘Julaayi’ also has similar scene in which villain Sonu Sood appoints 8 guys and eliminates in similar fashion like in ‘Mister 7’. Movie lovers were shell shocked to find same scene from ‘Mister 7’ getting re enacted in ‘Julaayi’.
One wonder which director was the chief architect of bank robbery and the elimination plan from main villain. While Julaayi is directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Mister 7 is directed by Charan Reddy. Some feel that there were some coverts in one film unit who revealed the information to another film unit and the director smitten by the novelty of the scene included in the film. It may be difficult to find out the covert and any way with ‘Mister 7’ making a fast retreat, we have to wait and see whether ‘Julaayi’ can delight movie lovers by meeting ‘Mister 7’ while re enacting the bank robbery in elimination process.

What’s wrong in TTD ?

Millions and billions of devotees along with pilgrims who visit Tirumala and pray Lord Venkateswara view TTD as the most pious organisation taking care of the temple protecting its sanctity. However many times the members who are in TTD along with its Chiarman and Executive Officer have played with the peoples beliefs and sentiments hurting them to the core. Many devotees are disappointed with the way the board is functioning. Many feel the oranisation is ridden with various power centers though the organizers and the members deny it.
While the EO is from IAS cadre appointed by the State Govt, Chairman happen to be a politician or who has clout with the politicians and the ruling party at the Govt. Going by their background many feel that they are driven by their own personal and monetary gains rather than maintain the sanctity of the holy place and the shrine. Many a time sentiments of the devotees are hurt during the making of prasads or at the offering of hair or during the darshan where devotees are pushed mercilessly like animals.
As if to pour petrol on sentiments, TTD turns blind eye on religious conversions and preachings from other religions from its own employees without taking any action. At the most they will be transferred to Tirupathi from there the people can go ahead with their conversions. When devotees question how could donations and offerings made by them to the Lord Venkateswara could be diverted for other Govt projects, they search in vein for answers.

Why are Kona Venkat & Gopi Mohan flying along with Badshah team?

When the writers duo Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are enthusiastically posting their pics at Badshah shooting locations in Italy and Switzerland. Few people were lamenting they are simply wasting producer’s budget and increasing the production cost of the movie. However, it is the hero of the movie, NTR behind their travel.
Going in to detail, Badshah unit had left to Italy without the successful writer-duo, Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan and started the regular shooting. But the writers were immediately called upon and from then on they are accompanying the unit. They are generally not known to be on board while the movie is being shot. But for Baadshah they have made an exception on NTR’s insistence.
As per sources, NTR insisted to have them on the sets as they could make last minute betterments to the dialogue as well as scenes

Strange things always happen  in the ways of films and film stars. After much drama. ex-lovers Simbu and Nayantara are reportedly seeeing each other after almost three years. Ever since the two were seen chatting with each other at a film function in Chennai, speculations have been agog about the two.
Adding fuel to the speculation is the fact that both Simbu and Nayanthara are shooting in Hyderabad. While Nayanthara is acting opposite Rana in Krihsnam Vande Jagadgurum, Simbu is shooting for his next Tamil film.
Grapevine has it that actor Rana is playing cupid between the two. Apparently the actor who is good friends with the two of them has been taking them around Hyderabad. Wonder what Trisha has to say about all this.

Fans to act with Power Star !

Director Puri Jagannath sure knows how to work up hype before release. The director has given out an open invitation for all his fans to come star with the Power Star in the grand climax of upcoming movie Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu. These scenes were supposed to be shot last month; however, shooting had to be postponed due to bad weather conditions. Now, Puri Jagannadh has announced that the shooting will take place on August 12.
“I invite all the POWERSTAR PawanKalyan fans to the shooting of CGR at RamojiFilmCity from tomorrow till 12thAug Btwn 9am-4pm,” tweeted Puri Jagannadh.
Pawan Kalyan and Tamannaah are playing the lead roles in this film. DVV Danayya is producing the film on Universal movies banner. Mani Sharma is composing the music. The film is slated for October 18.

The movie had managed to cross Mahesh Babu’s Business Man which is currently fifth in the list. However, the movie’s dream run is almost came to an end. The movie though opening to record collections worldwide doesn’t look getting anywhere near the Rs 100 mark, as the theatre occupancies dipped since the third week onwards even though there are quite a few theatres that are running to packed houses in some centers.
Three cheers to Rajamouli who achieved this rare feat with no star power and that too in an industry which is so star centric.

Lone MLA, Jayaprakash Narayna who showed his ‘satta’ with his NGO ‘Lok Satta’ before turning a politician today decided to give a jolt to ruling Cong Govt at State. When many started writing him off as being Cong agent and even predicted that he would be losing his Kukatpally Constituency, JP
decided to step in the steam giving no breather to Govt.While other political parties and politicians criticized Govt on fees reimbursement issue making the issue as caste related issue, seeking to divide opinion based on castes, Jayaprakash using all his intelligence and information on the subject went hammer and tongs on the Govt authorities, saying conditions and cuts in fees reimbursement is a boon to engineering colleges which are on the verge of closure due to lack of funds.
JP went on to allege that Govt decision is a ploy to help out the management of engineering colleges so that they don’t close. He said the order is boon to the management of engineering colleges just like arogya sri for the management of hospitals across the state. He forbade Govt not to proceed with the order, dashing the hopes of thousands of students just for the sake of helping management of private colleges. He went on to claim that fees reimbursement scheme is his dream project and included the same in his party’s manifesto in 2009 in the name of ’50 guarantees’ for people. He however lavished praises on YSR saying he is a great visionary and no other leader has that kind of knowledge on various subjects. This once again raised suspicion of JP’s collusion with YSR.

Nityananda who till recently earned reputation of a renowned religious preacher across the world with tremendous following and innumerous devotees, became notorious when his dark secrets were revealed. When his videos with intimate scenes featuring kollywood heroine Ranjitha was aired he tried to bluff that the person present in the video was not he and some one else acting. Nityananda filed a petition in high court to stall the release of the kannda dubbed film would hurt the sentiments of his devotees. He sought court direction to Censor Board to stop the release of the film. The film features comedian Ali who became famous for his dialogue ‘Whop is the katravalli’. Many wonder how could Nityananda who many times defied the directions of Courts and its orders can file petition against the release of the film. Nityananda, who became the head of Madurai Mutt,was caught along with his girl friend and heroine Ranjitha, while trying to escape to Nepal to evade court inquiry on various sex allegations.

Crazy film maker Ram Gopal Varma seems to be becoming a politician. Till some years back he made films which created sensation on silver screen winning even the acclaim of film critics. Later on many feel he is smitten by political charms and started dabbling with politicians. He even made films on political and mafia backdrop. He made lot of films like ‘Sarkar’, ‘Sarkar Raj’ casting Big B Amitabh Bachchan and later he came to tollywood at once courting trouble with his film ‘Raktha Charitra’ based on ex home minister and faction leader Paritala Ravi who was brutally murdered in broad day light.
As if this was not enough he did ‘Department’ and even announced a film on 26/11 attacks. In between he courted controversy announcing a film titled ‘Reddygaru Poyaru’ which many felt is based on late CM of AP, YS.Rajasekhar Reddy. Ramu who was adamant not to change title of the film, finally bowed to pressure and changed the title to ‘Ayana Poyaru’. Now he decided to take on Team Anna branding them as Anna Brand. Sharing his idea on twitter he said “I want to make a film called Anna gang..its about a gandhian politician who gets vexed with his team nd forms an underworld gang”.He went on to tweet “Anna gang is the best brand I heard since Dawood gang ” All this shows that Ramu is turning a politician with ulterior motives and mafia connections.

When Damodar Rajanarasimha was made the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh many felt that he was meek, humble and many not take strong decisions or voice his opinion on various issues. Some even said he is just a rubber stamp to CM Kiran Kumar Reddy who himself is a rubber stamp CM at the hands of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. However after the party’s loss in by elections, he became more vocal and started voicing his opinion on various issues that are of concern to the people of the state. He went on to criticise even CM Kiran Kumar Reddy on various counts giving raise to suspicion that he might be eying the CM post.
There was speculation that right after Congress Party’s disastrous performance in the by polls, there would be change of guard with high command calling CM Kiran and APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana. During that time many leaders went to Delhi to put forward their assessments about the situation in state and at the same time canvass their candidature. Many ministers went hammer and tongs on CM Kiran for his high handed ways. Damodar Rajanarasimha kept quiet during that time and suddenly started making resounding sounds on various issues putting CM Kiran in a spot of bother.
Many feel that he is marketing himself on various fronts in a meticulous manner and is not making empty noises. If this is true then it will surely be death knell for CM Kiran.

Cracks in Telangana Movement !

Telangana movement reached its zenith thanks to KCR’s vitriolic statements raising the tempers and his party TRS cadres mobolising forces along with T-JAC headed by Prof Kodandaram who guided the students of Universities in Telangana. Their organising abilities can be gauged by the success of ‘Sakalajauna Samme’ and Million March. During Sakala Janula Samme, Govt employees from the telangana region, stalled functioning of Govt making the authorities kneel before them, inviting them for talks. The one month long agitation showed the power of the movement. Similar is the case of million march during which many forced their way to Hyderabad and the march culminated in destruction of statues of greats on Tankbund.
However now cracks seems to have developed in Telangana movement with growing mistrust between TRS Chief KCR and T-JAC convener Kodandaram. Recently Harish Rao tried to arrange a meeting between the two but KCR refused to meet Kodandaram saying he is not that great as Kodandaram to meet him. Their relationship reached breaking point when T-JAC decided to support BJP in Palamuru by polls where TRS suffered shocking defeat. T-JAC tried to make amends with KCR supporting the party in Parakal elections but the mistrust is so much that KCR refused to buy any explanations.
Some say KCR is not of that kind keeping petty things in mind and point out that he met Kodandaram on four occasions after Parakal elections. Analysts feel that he is expecting an announcement of Telangana and is busy chalking out his future plans. However indications are not all is well between KCR and Kodandaram the moment Kodandaram started playing important role putting aside KCR. It has to be seen how their mistrust effect Telangana movement.

Mega fans expect another hit from mega family completing hat trick of hits this year joining Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s ‘Racha’ and Power Star’s ‘Gabbar Singh’. ‘Julaayi’ music is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad.
However film critics and movie lovers are waiting with bated breath considering the track record of the film makers and doubt whether Julaayi turn out to be jolly ride for them or once again a roller coaster ride. The film’s hero Allu Arjun tasted ‘Badrinath’ disaster,. while Ileana disappeared from tollywood after ‘Shakti’ shock only to return later with Shankar’s ‘Snehitudu’ which once again proved to be a disaster. While presenter DVV.Danayya is also reeling under string of flops, film director Trivikram Srinivas is yet to come out of ‘Khaleja’ knock out. Film makers will surely be tensed up in this high profile high tension release. One has to wait for another 18 hours to know the result of Julaayi.
If they come out of their string of flops, then they can claim credit to the storyline or else they will be surely branded as iron leg team in tollywood film industry.

Govt’s Legal aid to Loot !?

When AP Government headed by Congress decided to provide legal aid to six of their cabinet ministers who received Supreme Court notices on GO’s issued by them during YSR’s regime, many eye brows were raised about the legality of the whole issue. The Govt even tried to extend the legal aid to one of its BC Minister who was presently in Jail arrested on corruption charges but went back fearing backlash from opposition parties and public in general. Common man was aghast as to how hard earned money which they paid in the form of taxes for the overall development of the State could be used to support the misdeeds of ministers. This is for the first time in country and legal history where a state government has taken sides in support of its ministers even after highest court of the Country, Supreme Court found fault with.
Many feel it is legal aid to loot. While law enforcing authorities question common man on filmsy grounds and threatening to put them behind the bars, they turn blind eye on their higher authorities and political bosses even though they are found guilty. The argument of ministers that they were unaware of the GOs and trying to wash out that they were pressurised to sign the GOs finds no locus standi in court and people are laughing at their argument. They feel the ministers are trying to act too smart portraying being innocent while they are actually hand in glove in all these dark deeds.

Battle between ANR and NTR’s flop teams

Generally any batlle for supremacy involves to top teams but in this surprising battle, two flop teams from top families of tollywood are involved. They are none other than Akkinenis and Nandamuris. If one goes by records there are not many high profile battles between top heroes from Akkinenis and Nandamuris. What ever battles used to be there it ended during ANR and NTR’s time itself. Balakrishna and Nagarjuna took care so that their films never clashed much at the box office. They even chose different lines with Balakrishna chosing mass masala entertainers while Nagarjuna chosing lover romantic entertainers.However all that changed with the entry of young brigade.
Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya started his entry with mass entertainer ‘Josh’ which flopped at the box office. However he came with a bang with romantic entertainers ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and ‘100% Love’ but he showed his intentions to attack the mass fort of Nandamuris by getting a mass image. So he tried his luck with ‘Dada’ and ‘Bezawada’ which however bombed at box office. But he is not taking it lying down and is coming as ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ another mass entertainer. Another hero from Akkinenis Sumanth tried his luck with ‘Golkonda High School’, ‘Dooramga Daggaraga’ and ‘Raaz’ but he could not unlock the success ‘Raaz’. Similar is the case with Susanth who thought of passing success ‘Current’ but power cuts dashed his hopes. He is currently in his ‘Adda’.
While Akkinenis are trying to come out of their flop strings, Nandamuri heroes case is no different. Tarakaratna who made a sensational debut signing 9 films even before the release of his first film recently turned ‘Nandeeswarudu’ requsted his fans to call him ‘NTR’. The film however bombed at box office thus dashing his hopes of mass hero. Kalyan Ram after his superhit ‘Atanokkade’ failed to find his success ‘Kathi’. Currently he is in search of success script. It is difficult to predict winners in this battle of flops as both teams are competing with renewed vigor.
