Tamil hero Karthi’s upcoming movie ‘Sakuni’ is expected to take pot shots at some current affairs. The movie is a political satire that involves top level politicians that depict some real life politicians of South India.
Among all, the movie is having a special track developed about a heroine and her political entry through fraudulent means, says a source. Yesteryear heroine Radhika is playing this role to create sweat among the present aged heroines who are into politics. While some are saying it is targeted against Jayalalitha, few say that the inspiration behind this character is Telugu heroine Roja.
Sources say that Censor Board has got some strict instructions from Political leaders to carefully check every dialogue of this movie before giving it a certificate. If one expects this movie to be a ‘Oke Okkadu’ kind of, there is more than that from ‘Sakuni’, says an unit member. Wait for few more weeks to know the actual.

Tamanna back to Bollywood with ‘Himmathwala’ !

Tamanna is all set to make a mark of her own in the Hindi Film Industry. She is back in Bollywood again with the Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Himmatwala’.
Although this milky white beauty made her acting debut with the Hindi film ‘Chand Sa Roshan Chehra’ opposite a new comer in 2005, luck didn’t favour her. The film bombed miserably at the Box Office forcing Tamanna to look towards South for offers. After 7 long years, she is returning to the Hindi Industry and the note worthy thing is that she is being paired opposite a big star this time.
Tammu’s Himmatwala is a remake of 80s super hit (which also has the same title) starring Jeetendra and Sridevi. Sajid Khan who delivered a blockbuster ‘Housefull 2’ (entered Rs. 100 plus crore club) recently will be directing this film. Let’s hope, Tamanna succeeds in her second attempt!

According to reliable sources, Allu will be hosting a function at Hotel Grand Kakatiya Today. Can anyone guess what’s the special occasion? He would be formally introducing Ram Charan’s fiancee Upasana Kamineni to the Telugu Film Industry. Prominent Telugu personalities, including Top Heroes, Actors, Directors, Producers and Technicians would be gracing the event.

Actress Shilpa Shetty who recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last month. She has named her son Viaan Raj Kundra.
“Hey tweetos, Yes, its official, Did the naming ceremony today, our son is christened VIAAN RAJ KUNDRA. It means Full of life and energy,” the 36-year-old tweeted Wednesday night.
Shilpa, who is married London-based Raj Kundra in 2009, gave birth to her son May 21. Shilpa is Raj Kundra’s second wife. He even had a daughter, Deleena from his ex-wife.

Already, he has a history of hurting himself during the shooting of ‘Arya’ and ‘Badrinath’. He also underwent a shoulder surgery in Australia which kept him out of action for quite a while.
Sources say the song from ‘Julaayi’ was being made with a budget of Rs 65 lakhs and his prompt dedication saved the day for the producers.

Roja is one leader who can deliver punch dialogues at her opponents on daily basis. The other day, while taking a dig at Congress Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi she said ‘Chiru sold PRP for MRP rate’.
The YSR Congress leader alleged that Chiru sold his party for wholesale price to Congress with the intention to enjoy power and also to become chief minister in future. She questioned the erstwhile PRP chief how can the Congress claim that government is doing a terrific job when it failed to implement the welfare and development schemes introduced by late YSR.

Movie Moghul, Dr. D. Ramanaidu is currently producing a Punjabi film and this movie will make him a Guinness record holder as the producer of films in 13 languages. And this rare gem of Telugu cinema is turning 76 today. Speaking to the media on this occasion, he expressed his desire to remake ‘Ramudu – Bheemudu’ with Jr NTR. “I always wanted to remake the film Ramudu – Bheemudu and I have conveyed the same to Jr NTR . I will remake the movie only if he agrees to act in it, as he is the only one who can do justice to that role”, he said.
The vetran producer was born on June 6th 1936 in Karamchedu. He came to Madras aspiring to become a hero but that never took place. He made his debut as a producer in 1963 with the film ‘Anuragam’.

Another ‘cash for vote’ scandal has come to light! YSR Congress leader Konda Surekha was caught red handed on Wednesday distributing money to the voters in her Parakala constituency where the by-polls will be taking place soon.
Usually, the close associates or supporters of the candidates will look after the distribution of money during the elections. Surprisingly, the YSR Congress by-poll candidate herself took up this responsibility here. Surekha was spotted distributing Rs. 500 for each voter in Atmakuru segment. When the voters were asked by ABN Andhra Jyothi who gave them the money, all of them pointed their fingers towards sitting MLA.
Already, a case has been registered against Surekha under 188, 177E, 123RP Act of IPC. These developments will do no good to the YSR Congress party, which is yet to earn a considerable cadre in Telangana. What would be Jagan’s reaction on his party’s cash for vote scandal?
