Constructed during Nizam period, Chanchalguda central prison is not known to many until mining mafia king Gali Janardhan Reddy became its inmate. With authorities constructing special provisions for VIPs there, white collared culprits started a liking for this place. Gali is followed by Raj Gopal IAS, Emmar Sunil Reddy, BP Acharya IAS, Koneru Prasad, Nimmagadda, Brahmananda Reddy, YS Jagan and Mopidevi. This jail currently holds 9 VIP barracks and all are currently filled with the arrival of ex-minister Mopidevi Venkataramana today. So, for now this Celebrity Jail is shutting down temporarily with no more space for VIPs.

However, if Court orders, VIPs will be stuffed up to 3 members per room. Even then, jail authorities might end up putting an ‘houseful’ board soon with CBI getting ready to grill some more VIPs Jagan’s illegal assets case.

Unlike the regular way of filming those under the flood water scene in a swimming pool, Lakshmi opted to create an artificial ‘river’ to film it.

The turbulent currents of these waters made hero Aadi Pinisetty and Lakshmi drown a couple of times bringing the hearts into pockets. With this act, Aadi decided not to take up ‘action’ films anymore. The young hero now wants to do only lover-boy movies without doing experiments with his life. Well, Lakshmi has surely scared him with her realistic adventurous feats, but Aadi should fill up more courage in his heart.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is one hero who makes movies for the love of cinema and his fans. He doesn’t mind the movie results and rarely speaks to media about his movies in post release events. Therefore we don’t get to see him in media very often.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas will very soon join the Tollywood Bandwagon of Brand Ambassadors like Mahesh, NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and others. He is going to endorse soft drink brand ‘Coca Cola’ in Andhra Pradesh. Prabhas is being paid 2 crore rupees for this deal for an year. A special photoshoot was done recently for this purpose in Mumbai. The soft drink company will also be shooting a TV commercial on him very soon. The commercial will go live on TV in July or August.

Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh will share the common dais as both of them together will release the first look teaser of their multistarer movie, Seethamma Vaakita Sirimalle Chettu. Prasad Labs in Hyderabad will be the venue for the first look teaser launch. Meanwhile, the movie shooting is currently progressing in Hyderabad.

The film is being readied for a Dussehra release and Victory Venkatesh will be seen as Mahesh Babu’s brother in the movie.Dil Raju is the producer of this movie and ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame Srikanth Addala is the director. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music.

Ravi Teja’s upcoming movie under the direction on Puri Jagannadh had finished its shooting part. The entire shooting is completed as the movie unit had completed the songs shoot yesterday. Majority of the shooting took place in Bangkok. The movie is complete in record number of working days. The audio release of the movie will take place in early June and movie will hit the screens in June.

Ileana is pairing up with Ravi Teja in this movie after their hit combination in Kick. This is the fifth combination of Ravi Teja and Puri. Raghu Kunche is the music director. BVSN Prasad and Reliance entertainments are jointly producing the movie.

RR Film Distributors, the Distribution wing of RR Movie Makers will be shutting their shop in Andhra. They operate 2 offices in Vizag & Rajamundry covering North Andhra & Godavari Districts which cease to exist from June 1 The reasons behind the decision are yet to be known but in the coming days even Ceeded & Nizam operations might be shelved.

RR Movie Makers had produced Nagarjuna’s Damarukham recently with a whopping budget of 42 crores.but they are not planning to release the film on their own. as the Exhibitor Advances & Share guarantees could not clear around 25 Crores finances before the release and that is highly impossible to achieve in advances as Nagarjuna’s biggest hit, Don itself could not manage to touch the 20 crore mark.

So RR is planning to sell out Damarukam in all areas of the state and recently released some stills hoping to get some good business offers. But the response is very disappointing. With many other notable films set for July, Damarukam is fighting against heavy odds to get Distributors.

Yami Gautam is a Television actress who acted in like Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam and Chand Ke Paar Chalo. She made her silver screen debut with Ravi Babu’s Nuvvila, but could not bag any worthy chances in Tollywood after that. King Nagarjuna is trying to materialize a ‘threesome’ movie from a long time that features all the three generation heroes of Akkineni family. This cherished dream is lying on cards all these days as many directors failed to come up with a sensible script. His plan is to rope in legendary ANR and Naga Chaitanya to star alongside him. Fortunately, dialogue king and dubbing star Saikumar made this come true for his family. Saikumar, his father and his son Aadi featured together for a commercial of a real estate company.

A small relief for Nag is that this is just a TV ad. Anyway, three generations of a star family like Akkineni on the silver screen will not have any comparisons with other combinations. Let’s see when Nag will satisfy ‘Akkineni fans’ with that ‘threesome’ flick!

Ram Charan’s tweet right after Jagan’s arrest has created a stir in media. “Finally the Govt. has proved its capability!!” is the tweet from that has hurt the sentiments of Jagan fans and supporters. Although the actor didn’t mention any name or incident, it is easy to read between the lines considering the timeline of his tweet.

Whatever the opinion be, either positive or negative, Charan has every right to express his feelings. No one has a right to question ones fundamental rights in this country. Why is everyone targeting the actor for voicing his opinion? If someone doesn’t want to comment on the same issue, it is their personal choice. How can you ask Charan to learn how behave from them?

Nara Rohit’s film, Okkadine is currently in the last phase of production. The shooting is complete except 3 songs and the climax sequences. The entire shoting will be wrapped up in June and the movie might hit the screens early July.

Nitya Menen is playing the love interest of Rohit in the movie. ‘Katha’ fame Srinivas Raga is directing the movie while Singer Karthik directing the music and C.V. Reddy producing the flick under the Gulabi Movies banner. The movie is touted to be a good family entertainer with good action.

The shooting part of Manchu Manoj’s ‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ is complete and the movie is currently in post production phase. Natasimha Balakrishna is acting in an important role in this movie.The audio release of the movie will take place tomorrow at shilpa Kala Vedhika and movie will hit the screens in late July.

Deekasha Seth will be seen romancing Manoj in this film. Dr Brahmanandam, Sunil, Sai Kumar, Prabu are other casting. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. Bobo Sasi is providing tunes for the film while Bollywood musical duos Salim-Sulaiman are scoring background music. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna will also seen in a special role in this movie.

‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padatara’ will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. This experimental movie is presented by Padmasri Mohan Babu under the banner Manchu Entertainments produced by Lakshmi Prasanna.

SS Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna is successful is establishing comedian Sunil as hero. Sunil put in all his efforts as weak link who fears for his life. Audience were convinced with the character as they do not have any expectations on Sunil and the role suited his till then comedian image too.

And now the movie is being remade in Hindi with the title ‘Son of Sardar’. It has Ajay Devagan playing the role of Sunil and Sanjay Dutt playing the role of Nagineedu. The first look of the movie which released recently had created more doubts on the movie casting. People seriously doubt if Ajay Devagan can fit in to the role of a weak link who at times become the laughing stock.

We will have to wait till November to see if Devagan can pull it off!
