Last 16 months is nothing sort of a nightmare for Prabhas fans, as all sorts of bad news cropped from Rebel unit. But now here is good news for all the fans. The movie is carrying tremendous positive buzz in the trade and is doing extraordinary business. The Nizam rights of the movie was bagged by Dil Raju for a whopping 9 crore. Interestingly, This is more than the amount paid by Dil Raju for Dammu, Gabbar Singh, Daruvu and Racha.

Nandamuri Balakrishna had heaped satires on YS Jagan in his upcoming movie, Adhinayakudu. The latest trailer of the movie released had few dialogues with indirect reference to YS Jagan unveiling lakhs of his father Ys Raja Shekar Reddy.

The dialogue “Manchi nayakudu prajala gundello undaligani, Roadla meedha vigrahalallo kadhu, Unattundi ee Vigrahala rajakeeyam endhuku modhalu pettavo chepthava nannu cheppamantava” is a direct attack on it. Inside sources say that the movie contains lot of such dialogues which are bound to become a pont of discussion across the state.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is one hero who tasted success in late age with his unique dialogue delivery and energetic levels. Off late, Ravi Teja’s career is doldrums with back to back flops in the form of Veera and Nippu. His latest movie ‘Daruvu’ which released yesterday had received huge negative talk and will be another flop in Ravi’s illustrated career.

Though he is giving his 100% in movies , it is his wrong selection of story lines which are leaving him with flops. The same happened with the likes of Srikanth, Jagapathi Babu when they stick to similar stories and public stopped caring. Lets see where Ravi Teja’s career goes!

Hot beauty Anushka is one of the most sought heroines in Telugu even today but for some reasons, she is opting for Tamil movies and is selectively doing Telugu movies. She is currently having only one project in Telugu in the form of Damarukham. And the latest news is that she is roped in to play the female lead in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s sequel of Aditya 369.

The movie will be directed by Singeetham Srinivas Rao and is produced by Vinod Suryadevara. Konda Krishnam Raju will be presenting the movie. The movie will go on floors from August. More details of this project are awaited.

Pawan Kalyan is back to form with Gabbar Singh and he has been ruling the box office with earth shattering collections all over. Gabbar Singh is declared as a huge blockbuster and the film has raked in an estimated worldwide share of Rs. 45 crore in two weeks. With this producers are trying their luck to do films with Pawan Kalyan although he has been doing films only to his close associates of late.

Dil Raju is one of the producers who have always been chasing Pawan Kalyan to make a film under his banner. Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu was supposed to be made with Pawan and Venkatesh, but later it was offered to Mahesh as the former didn’t give a nod to Dil Raju. However, Dil Raju is still trying to please Pawan Kalyan in some or the other way.

There is a buzz that Dil Raju supervised the post production of Gabbar Singh. Raju is also seen in every success meet of Gabbar Singh. Despite distributing few big films in the recent past Raju never took so much personal interest in promoting others films. He was seen doing the same for Pawan’s Annavaram too. After all his efforts, will power star fulfills his wish and do a film under his banner? 

Many films create sensation when their first look is revealed to public. Unlike those sensational flicks, this movie is creating doubts among the trade circuits.

Nagarjuna’s much awaited socio fantasy film is ‘Damarukam’. Due to some differences with the producers, reportedly there is a delay behind the production of this movie. However, the first look of this movie was released a couple of days back to enthral both fans and distributors. Sources are saying that the first-look of the movie is released only to invite buyers with liquid cash. As of now, the movie still has lot of unfinished work regarding the Visual Effects that will take some more months to finish, say insiders.

To move the work further, lot of investment is required for which neither producer RR Makers nor hero Nagarjuna are showing interest. For now, ‘Damarukam’ has generated the required buzz to attract everyone, but we have to see how this film makes its way to theatres without getting struck in obstacles.

The man behind Raviteja’s success as a hero and the man who made him an overnight star is none other than Puri Jagannadh. Raviteja’s first success as solo hero came with Puri Jagan’s Itlu Sravani Subramanyam. Later Idiot and Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi made him a household name. After hitting hat-trick, Puri and Raviteja teamed up for Neninthe and that movie fetched the best actor award for the actor, who is otherwise known for hyper energetic roles.

Now Puri and Raviteja have been doing Devudu Chesina Manushulu, which is a satirical movie on the current state of living. This movie has to put Raviteja back on track as he has been suffering with a string of flops. His latest release Daruvu is being panned by critics and is carrying very poor reports. So the onus is on Puri to bring Raviteja some luck.

The actor needs a break from the monotonous characters as audiences are getting bored by his routine antics. Only Puri can give a new dimension to Raviteja and the rest will follow. Hope DCM gives the much needed break for Mass Maharaja.

When everyone thought that she is running out of offers, Neetu shocked them by signing an international project. Not only that film, she is now engulfed with ‘affair’ rumours too. She is heard moving close with a foreigner named Kyriacos Tofarides, who happens to be the director of her latest international film, an English-greek movie ‘Home Sweet Home’.

Smitten by her charms and performance, this director also offered his next flick to Neetu other than the current one. Sources are saying that it is not about offering movies, there is something cheesy between them. We have to wait for Neetu’s words to know what exactly is happening.

We are talking about the towering hunk Daggubati Rana and his new movie ‘A Momentary Lapse Of Reason’. Sources say Rana is essaying the role of a cop who learns the street art of Ghettos such as graffiti and spray painting. The film is being directed by Aditya Bhattacharya.

While the buzz is that the film is a remake of the dark thriller ‘Raakh’ which came in the year 1989, Rana reportedly has clarified that the film is just a reference point but this is a total reinvention done. For now, all the details of the film are being kept under tight wraps and would be revealed at the right time.

Power star Pawan Kalyan and his following among the masses is known to one and all. Not only that even the other genres of audiences are quite fond of watching his movies. Currently he is riding high with the success of his recent release ‘Gabbar Singh’ and here is a very interesting update.

Pawan has reportedly decided to launch Spido’s clothes range in his brand name power astar clothing. It is heard that the range of outfits would be reflecting the ideology of Pawan Kalyan. Sources say the clothes would be containing sportswear and semi casuals and the lineup is meant for the youth.

The launch is expected to take place on Sunday and this would be happening in Hyderabad. The noted producer Neelima Tirumalasetty, an ardent fan of the power star and producer of his movie ‘Panjaa’ had reportedly informed about this. Get set for the power star collection folks!!

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Daruvu had released worldwide today. The movie premieres were screened in the overseas yesterday night itself but to the huge disappointment of the makers and distributors, the response for the premieres is very poor with not more than 20% occupancy in all the centers. Producers had shipped the prints two days before the movie release and the distributors have fixed the ticket pricing at 12$ per adult and 7$ per child but that could not lure audience to the theaters.

And now with movie getting negative review, the performance of the movie there in the weekends too is highly doubtful.

This year had turned out very promising for Mega fans as both the movies from Mega family – Racha and Gabbar Singh doing extremely well at the box office. And now Bunny is gearing up to entertain in the form of Julayi this June. The movie is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and the fans had pinned high hopes on the movie. But ‘Aal iz not well’ for them. The movie distribution rights was bagged by Dasari owned Siri media. Siri media had very bad reputation amongst the exhibitors in terms of not respecting the agreements and on time payments. Hence, good exhibitors always slams the door for Siri media. The similar thing happened when they had distributed Pawan Kalyan’s Panja.

And now with every thing going in their way, Mega fans do not want to hit a road block due to Siri media.

We have earlier reported that RR Movie Makers have halted the release of Nagarjuna’s Damarukham until the payment of Dhada’s loss is cleared by Nagarjuna’s business partner and Dhada producer, D.Siva Prasad Reddy. Finally, the issue is sorted out and Damarukham is gearing up for release in July 2nd week. Siva Prasad Reddy had failed to clear the dues of RR Movie Makers in order to save his face Nagarjuna had decided to forego his remuneration for the movie.

Finally, RR movie makers had decided to finish the remaining one song shoot of the movie and complete it. On the other side, RR Movie makers are already not paying for Chaitanya for acting in Autonagar Surya.

Malayalam Super Star Mohanlal will bey playing the iconic god man Sathya Sai Baba in a film with the title ‘Baba Satya Sai’.Directed by Vetran Telugu director Kodi Rama Krishna , the film will go on the floors shortly. Mohanlal danced with Balakrishna in Goruvanka Valagane.. song in Gandeevam and this is his first straight Telugu movie.

The film is produced by Vanapalli Baburao and former Congress MP Harirama Jogaiah. Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao who penned all the songs in Sri Rama Rajyam will also penning the lyrics for the movie. Filmmakers plan to release the film in five languages and the musical score will be composed by acclaimed musician Ilayaraja. The movie will very soon go on floors.

It is often said that the Telugu cine circuit has only two heroes who have the stamina to get into the top league just with one hit even after scoring a dozen flops. One is power star Pawan Kalyan and the other is young tiger Junior NTR. And currently, it is heard that NTR is under a lot of pressure.

Well, this is not about the box office scores but something else. Apparently, Junior is currently preparing to take off with the new movie ‘Baadshah’ and it is heard that director Srinu Vaitla made it clear he wants a lean and mean physique from NTR for the role. The young tiger has agreed and the challenge has begun.

Junior had put on some good weight for his earlier venture ‘Dammu’ and bringing it down within a short span is the challenge. But still, Junior is confident that he would be able to pull it off and come up with a look of ‘Brindavanam’. As is scoring a hit was not enough, the demand for physique change is sure to apply pressure on this young tiger.

After a couple postponements, Raviteja’s most awaited ‘Daruvu’ is in theatres to shock the fans of mass raja. It is decided that the movie lacks punch to break the ‘Gabbar Singh’ mania that is shaking the whole state now.

Stuffed with mindless comedy, incomprehensible story line and Raviteja’s boring antics, ‘Daruvu’ looks more of a crap. In the name of exploring Raviteja’s energy, the director failed to hold the pulse of audience with other characters becoming mere puppets. Trade pundits are saying that families and youth will not prefer ‘Daruvu’ for its pale content and ‘oora mass’ conceiving.

They say that ‘Gabbar Singh’ will be the undisputed king of Box Office for few more weeks as ‘Daruvu’ failed to create magic. With ‘Eega’ and ‘Endukante Premanta’ not falling nearby, there is no doubt that Powerstar will set some new records in Tollywood.
