Pak jets returned seeing size of IAF Mirage-2000

The surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) is all over news from the wee hours of Tuesday. Indian Air Force’s Mirage-2000 carried out the strikes in Balkot, Muzafarabad Sector and one more place.

Pakistan Major General has acknowledged Indian jets crossing the Line of Control (LoC). Sources say that Pakistan armed forced tried to retaliate and deployed F16 jets at its army base. However, looking at the IAF’s Mirage-2000, Pak’s F16 returned to their army base instead strike back.

Mirage-2000 are the deadliest single seat aircrafts and has a maximum speed of 2336 kmph and can travel 1550 km with drop tanks. The total length of the aircraft is 14.36 metres and weighs around 7500 kilos.

Previously Mirage-2000 were used in the victorious Kargil war and once again these fighter jets proved their worth. France, Egypt, UAE, Peru, Taiwan, Peru, Greece and Brazil are the other countries that own Mirage-2000 aircrafts.
