Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan interacted with the people when he spoke at a public meeting in Chintalapudi today.
He addressed a lot of topics, with his main concern being the increasing rate of farmer suicides in the state. He said that AP ranked third in the country, in terms of the number of farmer suicides, and said that it is high time the AP government takes the necessary steps to make sure that a solution for this problem is achieved.
He said that while the problems for farmers didn’t arise due to the AP government, it is the government’s responsibility to take care of its people, and given that Jagan promised to wipe the tears of the people of the state, his government should work in that direction.
Pawan said that he would always be there for the people of Andhra Pradesh, whether they want to see him as the Chief Minister or not. He said that he lost in two places in the last elections, but he didn’t go anywhere because he’s a slave to the people of his state. Pawan questioned how the AP government doesn’t seem to be bothered about the people’s problems, unless and until spoken about by the Jana Sena.
He also questioned why there were village secretaries and so many other posts in the state when none of them was doing their duty – aiding the people of the state. Pawan added that it is the responsibility of the YSRCP government, as it was chosen by the people, by a large majority, to make sure that they are happy, and that they do not shed tears.
Pawan also addressed the incessant comments being made by the members of the YSRCP, regarding Pawan being Chandrababu Naidu’s adopted son. He said that while he’s a patient man, his patience knows limits too.
He said that while neither he nor his followers have ever personally attacked any of the YSRCP members, the YSRCP members have, on several occasions, attacked and even abused Pawan personally, which they continue to do so to this day. He noted that he is a staunch believer in Karma and the Gita and that things would get ugly if the YSRCP kept up its charade of calling Pawan, Babu’s adopted son.
