As we know, the AP government laid strict rules on the ticket prices in theatres till a few months back. After repeating meetings and negotiations, it brought new rules and agreed to increase the ticket rates for films that exceed the 100 crores budget without including the remunerations.
Citing the same rule, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ wasn’t given any permission either for the special shows or ticket hikes. After that, they gave permissions for ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF – 2’ as they genuinely were made on huge budgets. But fans of Pawan Kalyan are finding is tough to digest the fact that films like ‘Acharya’ and ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ are given special GOs by the government of Andhra Pradesh to increase the ticket rates.
Both Chiru and Mahesh’s films were made with less than 100 crores of budget excluding the remunerations. But fans of Pawan Kalyan feel that these movies got special permissions as they met CM Jagan and requested him for a hike in ticket prices. They feel that the AP government will somehow find a way to affect the collections and obstruct Pawan Kalyan’s high budget period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ which will be released in the latter half of 2022. Let us wait and see if their fear becomes true or not.
