Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has reacted to the devastation in the newly formed Konaseema district. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, he said the state government had adopted a new policy for Konaseema, unlike other districts.
Pawan Kalyan blamed the State government for the violence in Amalapuram and said that there would be no problem if the Konaseema district name was changed earlier along with renaming other districts in the state. He said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government renamed the district without seeking adequate public input.
The Janasenani claims that the British have had less of an impact in Konaseema, which has a rich culture of its own. He advised the government to think in all directions when making a policy decision.
