The news of Mega Star making re-entry into politics is going round among the political circles for quite some time. Statements by Jana Sena leaders in this regard are adding fuel to these reports.Recently, Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar hinted at Chiranjeevi’s future ‘role’ in politics and reportedly said that Chiru might make a comeback into politics to support Pawan Kalyan
Nadendla even claimed that Chiranjeevi is the one who convinced Pawan to act in films for two or more years and advised him to focus on politics later. He credited Chiranjeevi for Pawan’s re-entry to films. As the latest development, Chiranjeevi’s brother, Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan finally broke his silence on Chiru’s re-entry. He said Chiru is his well-wisher, who wants him to succeed in politics.
He(Chiranjeevi) wishes for my success in Politics. I will always have moral support from him. He is a good person. As of now, there is no update on his re-entry. It is his personal decision. With Pawan not denying the possibilities of Chiranjeevi making a re-entry to politics, Jana Sena activists and Mega fans are hoping that Chiru might join the politics and help Pawan.
These reports came ahead of the much-awaited Tirupati by-elections. Chiranjeevi is closely associated with the temple city Tirupati. Chiranjeevi launched his Praja Rajyam Party(PRP) on 26 August 2008 from Tirupati and emerged victoriously as MLA from the Tirupati constituency. However, Chiranjeevi failed to take forward the party after the 2009 elections. In 2012, Chiranjeevi merged his party in Congress and got nominated into Rajya Sabha by the Congress party.
