Pawan Wakes Up To Attack Jagan Again!

By now, it has become a routine affair for the people of Andhra Pradesh to see Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan to disappear from political scenario for months and surface suddenly to make a comment or two against the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government, before going back into slumber.

He picks up issues which have already become old and tries to make some caustic remarks against the Jagan government, using his favourite medium Twitter. Since whatever he says has become outdated, which the other opposition parties have already raised it, nobody takes him seriously.

On Tuesday, Pawan chose to criticise the Jagan government for reopening the liquor shops, caring a damn about the spread of Coronavirus in the state. In his typical style, the Jana Sena leader chose to describe the Jagan government as “Corona-friendly” government.

“‘YCP led AP GOVT ‘has become ‘CORONA FRIENDLY’, this Govt came into power with an electoral promise to people that ,they will implement ‘COMPLETE LIQUOR BAN’ and of course, they later changed it as ‘PHASE WISE BAN.”

“Now, during ‘Covid-19’ they have the opportunity to fulfil their election promise of liquor ban, but chosen to open liquor shops instead & the result is this..” Pawan said, attaching a picture of mad rush at a wine shop in Andhra Pradesh.

Whatever Pawan said was already uttered by his political guru, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu in the last two days. He simply followed what Naidu had said on engaging the services of teachers for monitoring queues at liquor shops.

“How can teachers, who are supposed to groom future citizens of India, be entrusted with the task of controlling crowds at the liquor shops?” Pawan asked.

He suggested that the services of teachers could be used in educating the people on the Coronavirus spread and distribution of food and daily essentials to the poor or their monitoring.

“While the people are strictly following lockdown rules by not going to temples, masjids and churches and not celebrating festivals, the Jagan government has disturbed their true spirit by reopening liquor shops,” he said.
