The other day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that peole between 18-45 in the state will be vaccinated for free of cost.
Cut to 24 hours, his Telangana counter part, KCR has also announced the free vaccination drive for the same age group.An announced came from the TS CMO.
As per the media reports, the free vacation drive would put a burden of over Rs 2000 cr on the state government. Given the rise in Coronavirus infections in the state, the TRS sarkar has to go ahead without a second thought.
However, the official confirmation from the government is awaited on whether the first dose or both the doses will will be provided by the state government for a free of cost.
Eloborative arrangements for the vaccination drive would be made once CM KCR chairs a meeting with the officials. The Chief Minister is observing home isolation currently. After he recovers from the virus, he is expected to chair the meeting.
