South Korea’s second-biggest car manufacturer after Hyundai Motors is none other than Kia Motors. And in a first of its kind, Kia has come to India by opening their manufacturing plant in Anantapur that will produce around 3 lakh cars annually.
Caught in the picture is none other than Nara Lokesh, AP’s Panchayati Raj Minister and Telugudesam party General Secretary, where he posed in front of the soon to be released Kia vehicles. From mid-2019, a compact electric vehicle, a hatchback and a specially designed SUV will be rolled into the market from this company.
Going by the designs of the hatchbacks and sedan in the selfie shared by Nara Lokesh from the Kia plant, it looks like this biggest automaker is here to stay. And the people of Andhra Pradesh could proudly say that these are “Made In Andhra” cars.
Other automobile companies like Kia, Hero, Amar Raja, Isuzu and Ashok Leyland had already invested in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Seems like CM Naidu’s dream of “Sunrise State” is coming true!!
