PM Modi Raps opposition Parties For Misleading Farmers

Amid growing protests against the Controversial agricultural bills, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Kisan Kalyan event that was held virtually and addressed the farmers in Madhya Pradesh.

Addressing the event, Narendra Modi rapped the opposition Congress party for creating disturbance between the government and farmers and accused the opposition of instigating the farmers against the bills.

Adding further, he said, the opposition parties can take the credit of the newly passed agricultural bills as the election manifestos of the opposition parties promises the same bills.

“I request all political parties with folded hands, please keep all the credit. I’m giving credit to all your old election manifestos. I just want ease in the life of farmers, I want their progress and want modernity in agriculture,” he said in Hindi.

Modi lashed out at the opposition parties and alleged that the parties are trying to use the farmers as a vote bank and to mislead them they are spreading lies around the agricultural bills.

Talking about the agricultural bills, he said, the bills will bring many reforms to the agriculture sector and said he doesn’t know why the opposition parties which claimed to bring simile bills are opposing the bills.

He took a potshot at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, who supported the farmer protest. Modi said the government, which gained came to power with farmers’ support didn’t wave the farm loans.
