Renowned director KV Anand who made films like ‘Veedokkade’, ‘Rangam’, ‘Brothers’, ‘Kavan’, ‘Bandobasth’ has passed away on Friday at the age of 54. He is a popular cinematographer prior to becoming a director and worked on many films. His sudden demise left the Tamil film industry in a lot of sorrow. A lot of celebrities are mourning over his passing away and expressed their condolences to his family.
Many thought that he died due to a heart attack but it is revealed that he passed away after getting affected with Coronavirus. A relative of KV Anand got tested positive for the virus and the director too got infected with it. Due to serious problem in respiration, he was shifted to the hospital but he died at 3 AM this morning.
The hospital authorities refused to hand over his body to the family as he is tested positive. Even hero Suriya tried to convince the hospital officials but it did not work out. Knowing that he passed away due to Coronavirus is leaving a lot of his fans and admirers in sorrow and tears. May his soul rest in peace!
