A video, showing porn content on a big LED screen at Delhi busiest Metro Station Rajiv Chowk, is doing rounds on the social media. The LED screen which is dedicated to play government commercials and paid ads has screened some video, which is completely objectionable at a public place and on a public platform.
Although it is not yet clear who is responsible for this bizarre and shameful act, The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation says they wouldn’t take accountability for it as the LED screens at station are maintained by a private contractor.
‘In this regard, we formed a committee and ordered for a probe. Currently, they are investigating into this issue and we will get a detailed report from the team soon,’ said a member from Delhi Metro Corporation.
A video is widespread on social media platform including Youtube and a few others were also seen recording the objectionable clip played on LED screen. On other hand, a senior official from DMRC questioned the authenticity of viral video. The incident happened on 9th April and officials, although ordered for an investigation into the case, are drawing huge criticism from netizens.
