Bheemlanayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati is releasing on 25th of February on the occasion of Mahashivratri. It is the first big budget and big star film releasing after a long gap at Telugu box office.
Hence, fans and audiences are expecting the Power Storm that the makers are promising with the film at theatres and at the box office as well. Not just the first day records, many distributors are expecting the movie to be a blockbuster.
If you look into Pawan Kalyan’s filmography, he has been giving strong comebacks after big failures. He did comeback with Gabbar Singh after facing failures like Teenmaar, Panja and Komaram Puli.
His previous films like Agnyathavaasi, Katamarayudu, Sardar Gabbar Singh did not work at the box office. He took a break to test his luck in politics but experienced failure there too. He did give a comeback with Vakeel Saab last year but audiences want to see him in a full-fledged mass film and Bheemlanayak promise exactly that.
The expectations from the movie are high as we discussed earlier and the film collected USD 350k already from pre-sales in Overseas markets. It collected USD 200k from USA only.
Looks like Pawan Kalyan is going to end the slump at the box office for Telugu Cinema with his entertainer and start a hit streak for Summer as big budget films like RadheShyam, RRR, Acharya are waiting to hit the screens during March, April months.
