Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made key remarks with ministers after the cabinet meeting. He ordered them to shift into the electoral mood from now on. He suggested that the party and the government should coordinate and move forward with a definite strategy.
As per reports, CM Jagan has said that strategist poll strategist Prashant Kishor’s team will enter the field for the elections from next year. The CM is said to have alerted the ministers on the matter. He signalled that as part of the election plan, the people’s representatives should make field trips from now on. He also advised the ministers to give a strong counter to the opposition campaign.
As opposition to the YSRCP government grew day by day in the state, tension began among party leaders, including Jagan. With the economic situation deteriorating day by day, the cuts to welfare schemes have become a weapon for the opposition. The CM directed the ministers to explain to the people the welfare schemes being introduced by the government.
