Puri Jagannadh has been expressing his views on contemporary topics through a Spotify podcast named Puri Musings. In his latest release, Puri spoke about the White House.
“The White House is a haunted place and I suggest everyone not to use it. It might be a rich establishment used by the President of USA but everything including laundry, food and other miscellaneous expenses are chargeable. A total of 10 people including presidents and their family members have died in the White House till now, making it a haunted place,” he said.
Puri cited Michelle Obama’s revelation, saying the former first lady wrote in her book that once she was charged approximately Rs 50,000 for a single plate of fish while dining in the White House.
The star director further said that even Donald Trump does not like to live in the White House.
“If any of you become the president of the United States, I urge you not to stay in the White House and rather stay at some hotel nearby,” he concluded.
On the career front, Puri is presently busy with an action thriller that has Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
