UV Creations was subject to criticism and social media trolling during the release of Saaho as Prabhas’s fans were disappointed with the poor round of promotions and lack of exciting pre-release updates on the film. A similar scene is repeating again now and this time it is regarding Prabhas’s upcoming film, Radhe Shyam.
Prabhas’s fans on social media have been asking UV Creations who are bankrolling Radhe Shyam to release timely updates on the project but their efforts are going unnoticed.
Earlier this month, the director of Radhe Shyam, Radha Krishna Kumar said an update on teaser would be out very soon and many expected the makers to provide an update during the Sankranthi season. But there has been no update of any sort.
All these developments left Prabhas’s fans disappointed and they are now finding new ways to mock UV Creations.
Incidentally, Prabhas’s fans on social media are sharing a fake press note with UV Creations letterhead. This hoax is going viral on Twitter.
The fake press note says Radhe Shyam was planned as a OTT film and fans misunderstood it as a theatrical release. “It is hereby confirmed that Radhe Shyam is not Prabhas’s next theatrical release after Saaho. Prabhas’s next theatrical release is Salaar which will be directed by Prashanth Neel,” read the funny press note.
Fans are hoping UV Creations would take cue from this social media troll and plan continual promotions in the days to follow.
