Having acted in more than 100 films in all South Indian languages, senior actress Radikaa Sharatkumar has made a name for herself by donning many interesting characters since her days as heroine. Now that she is majorly getting mother roles or senior lady of the family in second innings, Radikaa has made up her mind to induce some unconventionality into the characters she would be playing going forward.

As her co-actresses like Nadhiya, Ramya Krishna, Saranya & others are being perceived well in both Telugu & Tamil, Radikaa is attempting to redefine her innings. So, in an attempt to destroy the regular cliched mother roles, the actor and producer has signed a Tamil film wherein she will playing a bus driver, a mother to hero.

With a view to achieve realism, a team of driving experts from Villuparam in Tamil Nadu have reportedly trained the actress to master the art and now, she is flawlessly steering the bus on the sets. As yesteryear heroine is stunning everybody with her driving skills, the movie unit is planning to release a video of her learning session on International Women’s day- i.e. March 8th.

When it comes to films, Radikaa may not be as active as her contemporaries due to various reasons but she is sure to grab many eyeballs with this attempt. Titled Ippadai Vellum, the film stars Stalin and Manjima Mohan in lead roles and Gaurav Narayanan is the director. The film is scheduled to release on 27th May.
