Rajamouli: Ram Charan’s intro scene on RRR is sensational

Rajamouli doesn’t often speak about the important scenes in his films prior to their release. But for a change, he has opened up about one particular scene in RRR which he believes will leave the viewers drooling for more and literally induce goosebumps. He revealed that Charan’s introductory scene was shot with as many as 2000 people and it will be a visual spectacle.

“Ram Charan’s character introduction sequence will be one of the best episodes in the film. You will see a total of over 2000 actors in this scene while the main focus is obviously on the protagonist, played by Ram Charan. This scene wasn’t exactly placed for grandeur but it was necessitated by the flow of the proceedings. This particular scene, involving 2000 actors will give a glimpse of what Seetharama Raju character has to offer through the course of the film. This scene will be an absolute stand out. I did one particular episode in Magadheera, featuring Charan and 100 fighters, If you were amused by it, then the Rama Raju introduction scene in RRR will blow you away,” Rajamouli said in the interview.

Well, it appears to be that Charan’s fans are in for a mass feast in RRR and the Rama Raju introduction scene will particularly stand out in the whole film. Needless to say, a brief glimpse of this scene was given in the trailer of the film which was released recently. Charan is seen as a police officer in this scene and it will be high on intensity and action elements.

Adding further about this scene, Rajamoli said “Filming this scene was a challenging task as well. We had to shoot with 2000 actors and all of them were constantly moving, shouting and jostling. It was frantic and fantastic all at the same time. It was one of the toughest shooting experience in the whole filming process.”

RRR, which is promoted as the biggest action drama in Indian cinema is now gearing up for world wide theatrical release on the 7th of January 2022. The film is riding sky high on buzz and anticipation already.
