Superstar Rajinikanth is a Master Magician at the Box Office. Not only in Kollywood, but there are several instances where his films broke all the existing records. Usually even Telugu Star Heroes do not like to release their films along with a Rajinikanth starer. Thats the craze Rajinikanth demands in Telugu audience. But some how he does not do the same with his next, Lingaa. Lingaa is being planned for December 12th release on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s Birthday.
As usually both the Telugu and Tamil version are planned to have simultaneous release. But the film some how is totally unexciting for Telugu Trade. Lack of expectations on the director KS Ravi Kumar may well be a reason too. Except for ceded by Sai Korrapati, business of the film is not closed anywhere in Andhra and Telangana states.
It is said that the distributors of Rajinikanth’s earlier disaster movie, Vikrama Simha are still hounding the makers to compensate their losses or give Linga at less than half the rates. With the release date approaching fast, the makers are in a very tensed mood. In worst case they may even defer the release of the Telugu version.
