Ram Charan Teja and Upasana’s wedlock is today (June 14) and they have planned for a short honeymoon for just four days as Ram Charan is busy with the tight packed schedules of his forthcoming projects.
Ram Charan entered into Tollywood with the movie ‘Chiruta’ and is marrying Upasana Kamineni, the eldest daughter of a corporate hospital tycoon Anil Kamieni and granddaughter of Pratap C Reddy of Apollo hospitals.
The destination of their honeymoon is not decided yet, but sources say the couple wishes to spend their quality time in a calm place in India.
While talking about their honeymoon trip Ram Charan Teja said their honeymoon spot should be an ideal place which would be free from traffic and shopping. In addition, the location should be somewhere in India, as the actor has to return back quickly and start the shooting for his forthcoming movies “Yevadu”, which is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and another untitled film directed by VV Vinayak’s.
Soon after their marriage celebrations are over, the couple will be paying visit to Tirupathi on June 16, Saturday. The same evening they have planned to visit Aragonda, native place of Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Upasana’s grandfather. They will be taking their honeymoon trip after this visit.
At present Hyderabad is glowing by the arrangements and decorations for the so called fairy tale wedding of Ram Charan and Upasana. The couple said they have decided to offer a ‘desi ‘ look to their pre-wedding and post-wedding ceremonies. They have avoided the usual wedding decorations with Chinese chandeliers, European cutlery and colourful flowers from Bangkok.
The couple have hired local folk weavers from Kalamkari to weave distinct carpets for their D-day. Tarun Tahliyani, fashion designer for celebrities, has designed the wedding outfits for Charan and Upasana.
Anand Sai, renowned art director has set the wedding mantapam set in Gandhipet at Temple Tress resort and the Sangeet ceremony set at Annapurna studio.
The families have hired two foremost security companies to follow all the movements; CCTV has been fitted at various places. Nearly 200 cars including 10 Mercedes have been hired to ferry the guests and two Merc Phantoms have been specially booked for family use.
